Mystik is about $55US per night, taxes included, has free wifi. Next door to Mystik is Girls House, next door to Girls House is Satin Dolls and next door to Satin Dolls is Sky High. 3 places with over 30 chicas next door to Mystik. 50 feet from Mystik is a small colmado (small store to buy beer, soda, chips etc) and next door to the Colmado is a small fried food place.
You may want to reserve one night at Mystik and then during the day you can walk over and see the other hotels. Maison Gatreux is about $50 per night. Venezia about 1500 pesos per night. Riazor about $68 per night. Jaguar is on a side street which some guys say is a little lonely at night. The walk to Venezia at night can be a little lonely late at night.
My last night on my last trip in SDQ I was drinking beer, then I drank some new drink with the owner of Satin Dolls, then I went to coppa and had vodka and probably tequila. I don't remember walking back to Venezia Hotel that night. On a sidewalk on Avenida Independencia I can recall seeing a deep hole, good thing I didn't step into that hole that night walking back to my room drunk.

I took one puta out of coppa and paid her $50, from around 3am till 11am. She was pissed, too bad, she was't that good (gave a good back massage) , sex was nothing great. There are always some cuties in coppa. We had fun that night, flat tire on the chevy aveo in zona colonial, then coppa, then Adrians Tropical Restaurant on the Malecon at 5am for food. I don't remember much from Adrians Tropical, we started drinking shots of of tequila at 6pm at the bar in Intercontinental V Centenario, then mojitos in plaza espana, then more tequila and vodka in Coppa.
The next day I spent 6 hours getting the chevy aveo repaired by Alamo, the brake caliper got messed up, when the tire got changed, that car was making a bad sound and I had to drive it north of avenida kennedy and lincoln.

I am thinking about traveling to santo domingo for mongering. Can anyone offer me advice, like is prostitution legal? Would the local police hassel me? How much are for the ladies? Are the working girl houses safe?
Is it dangerous to chase after young looking ladies? What is the legal age of consent in Dominica republic?
Do I bring travelers's checks? Or can I bring my ATM card?
Any advice would help me alot.

[/QUOTE]If you were at a small disco connected to Casino & hotel with security at the door. Where the bathrooms are not in the disco but located in the Casino. I would agree looks like Coppa because of the high tables.
I stayed at the Hilton Hotel on malecon although it is not chica friend, I wanted to stay here because it is pretty nice and free stay with my points. I found a way to bring girls in. There is a casino adjoining the Hilton but independently owned that is connected to the Hilton via a 2nd floor door. I used that door to get chicas in. Also added a generic Spanish girl's name to the guest registry so never put that you are staying alone. Secondly, if a security guard asked the girl for her name, I always instruct them not to answer, I do all the talking in an annoyed manner in English purposely. Always works for me in a high class establishment, they don't want a scene or to upset you as a guest in case they made a mistake. By doing this I avoid the guest fee and the embarrassment of being called out by security in the Hotel lobby on 1st floor.
