It's funny I was listening to an LA sports show the other day and they somehow brought up Hong Kong the city and shortened it to HK, well in my head I thought of our HK. Just a few minutes later his phone is getting blown up from texts of listeners talking about HK in Tijuana and they need to do a show from the place. Almost everyone knows about it and it would take some serious issues to get guys not to go.
The tourism it will hurt are more of families looking to go on vacation to Ensenada especially those that go on the weekends. They were also supposed to start a ferry from SD to Ensenada this summer but now I'm not sure they will have many customers or it could be a good thing since people don't have to drive. I left California for 2 months, was parked in a storage place and criminals destroyed my car probably totalled. Tow guy says they probably got 300 for my cat converter and I had about 35 dollars worth of gas in tje tank they drilled up. If renting a car here make sure you go online and adjust your copay to as low as possible for theft glass vandalism. Because the chances are very high in here compared to most of you live.

That is exception than the rule in SD. The car thieves have stealing a lot of catalytic converters over the past year or so.
