Prep available in Nairobi??
I prefer sex without a condom (obviously) and the CDC says that the pills reduce the chance of getting HIV by 99%.
While not 100%; that's pretty good.
Need a prescription etc in US; and intermittent users can follow a 2-1-1 schedule.
It is also known as "intermittent," "non-daily," "event-driven," or "off-label" PrEP use.
The type of "on-demand" PrEP that has been studied is the "2-1-1" schedule. This means taking 2 pills 2-24 hours before sex, 1 pill 24 hours after the first dose, and 1 pill 24 hours after the second dose.
There is scientific evidence that the "2-1-1" schedule provides effective protection for gay and bisexual men* when having anal sex without a condom.
We don't know how "on-demand" PrEP works for heterosexual men and women, people who inject drugs, and transgender persons.
The are some side effects of course but seem to be tolerated pretty well.
So does anyone know if you can get them there?
Been to a Kenya a few times and met 'nice' - ok smart women who wanted to get a rapid HIV test together.
This is great but not for a quick pickup.
Thoughts?
Best to do the daily one.

Thoughts?
Its best to do the daily one. Research of prep in CIS / heterosexual males is not the greatest. There simply aren't enough studies (opinion) or at least they are not as visible or well reported as those done on gay men, trans and women.
There are whispers that event based can be done by straight men who are insertive partners, but they seem to be just whispers. (https://i-base.info/guides/prep/on-demand). The rational for that seem to be since gay insertive partners can use event based by extension straight men can also do the same with the vag.
I am a big fan of prep, just personally I just do the daily one for the 3 or 4 weeks I monger internationally. 7 days before possible exposure and 7 days after possible exposure. No problem.
Radisson Blu Arboretum guest friendly
Hi all. The girls that came to my room, all from Tinder, were allowed in for free after registration at the front desk. Sometimes they didn't even bother with the registration, especially if it was earlier in the evening. My booking was for 2 people anyway. And it may help that I'm VIP status in Radisson Rewards, equivalent to the former Platinum status. But I have a feeling it's the same for everybody.
The hotel is in a great location. Short ride to Westlands. The tollway entrance is fairly close, so rides to and from the airport don't take long.
The Arboretum, a tree park that appears to be a former colonial estate, is a great place for a run or a power walk, especially in the cool Nairobi climate. The area is secure and quiet, but not far from action. The bar, restaurant, and pool here seem to attract groups or pairs of probably upper middle class office girl / student types.
Airbnb / hotel girl procedure
I know it's probably not comparable to Pattaya, but are most airbnbs and hotels in Nairobi alright with allowing girls up to your room? Should I ask if the Airbnb host / hotel allows girls to join you? Are there places where you can just have the girl leave their ID at security / front desk and come up?
I was suggested W Place apartments as a good girl friendly option. Any other suggestions?
