They also have some rules for various venues to cut-off sales within an hour or two of the start time. That seems to preempt a big markdown.

You would think many tickets would be significantly marked down, but I have had season ticket holders on craigslist text me that I am a cheap bastard. Okay, eat your tickets. I'll find someone else who will sell them at that price.
