amps = asian massga parlours? if so you have a few nearby your hotel:

life centre, concorde hotel and genesis spa. there are a few more within extra 5-10 minutes walking distance. the ones mentioned should be within 5-10 minutes walking distance (depending on your speed). you might want to wander into the beach club area at night (5 minutes walking) and see whether you enjoy shooting fish in a barrel. good luck.

Completely agree - we have to temper adventure with caution. It's a balance. So far I've not had the problems I hear some people have come across.

md ii[/quote]walk out from the hotel to street level jalan sultan ismail. to the left is the direction for genesis spa and bukit bintang. genesis spa is about 100m on the opposite side of the road of your hotel. it is in a building with hsbc bank on the ground floor. another 100m down the road will bring you to the cross junction which is the bukit bintang area.

walking about 250m to the right from your hotel will bring you to life centre, which has the spa de palace on the first floor. on the ground floor of life centre is tgi friday and to the left of tgif there is an escalator. when you reach the top of the escalator you will see ruums. look to your left and behind and you will see the signage for spa de palace.

from you hotel to life centre, you will pass equatorial hotel. a short distance after life centre is a cross junction with traffic lights; across the road diagonally to the right of the traffic light is the beach club.

if you cross the road and walk straight on, you should reach concorde hotel which is about 250m from the traffic light junction. here the landmark would be hard rock cafe.

Was in the area recently and dropped in to inquire about their day rates and was informed that they did not provide such a facility.

Appreciate recommendation for day rates accommodation.

Hmm they actually have a card on the lobby desk that states they have day rates....at least they did a few days ago.

Other places that have include Summit/Grade/Flamingo and a few other little gems. Also on same road as Tunes hotel a few places have and one place on Jln Ipoh.
