One last account: I decided to try the Vien Dong hotel for massages and I was very surprised how easy it was to connect with a gorgeous 23 year old. I stayed away from my massages on my trip because my body has not been responding well to massage, but decided to give one try before leaving Saigon. Vien Dong is really amazing facility, brand new, beautiful. I tipped mamasan 100 k (I know I overdid but I did not have change dammmmm) and he sent a gorgeous lady. I was expecting to send back the first one but I just could not. She gave me access to everything and did a nice hand job. We talked throughout the session, I teased her all the way. In the end, she gave me a kiss and her number to call her to schedule a meeting when she is off. Unfortunately for me it is too late so au Revoir Saigon. I wish I could have a permanent base in Vietnam. This is place is amazing. If anything, you all need to be careful with the ladies here as it is easy to get carried away sometimes and get too close emotionally to some of the ladies. I'm generally a lurker on the forum, and have been punting long enough to be able to generally work it out myself now. A cautionary tale from a fellow punter friend of mine about Saigon worried me enough, though, to RTFF, and thank you to posters for tempering my expectations. My trip ends tomorrow, so I thought I'the share my perspectives that might help Saigon newbies like myself.

1. Hotels. It doesn't appear to be any easier or harder to get girls into high end or cheap hotels. Paranoia drives me to book a pricey hotel (Reverie this time) and a cheaper hotel for punting. It was equally a hassle to get girls in, and seemingly impossible after 9 pm, except the night I hooked up with an English lass. I did not see one girl available to be picked up in any hotel I visited.

2. Bars. The go-go bar variety was an interesting experience, but it is no BKK. Go there to pass the hours. Do not expect a punt necessarily. Punts are probable to possible, but not guaranteed. I was unable to find the correct mix of attractive girl who was willing. In regular, high-end bars, I was more successful. Some charm, wit, and monetary investment got me a number of numbers, and two ended up in my bed (and as an excellent, non-judgmental tour-guides). I rate them 8 and 9, and both are educated and engaging. Definitely GFE, and many are looking for foreign husbands but possible. Oddly I felt better odds in high-end bars than in the go-go bars. Broma Not-A-Bar is a good speak-easy vibe place where the pretentious go to not appear pretentious.

3. Online. WeChat was a disaster for me. Too many scammers. Tinder I got a date, which was interesting and I probably would have arrived at the gates of heaven if I'the persevered, but I lost patience. On tinder I also met a bar girl who freelances outside the bar. Best punt of the trip. Went for hours at it, and was insatiable. She was a 7. She became my go-to during lulls.

4. Massage. Never really been my thing, even in BKK or elsewhere. Went out of desperation to Rona and was disappointed with how mechanical the whole thing was (and not just the sex).

5. Street scene. I didn't see any working girls, nor was I approached. A couple of dudes on motorcycles offered boom-boom, but I wasn't keen on trying this.

Cheapest punts were the girls I met at the high-end bars (paid nothing for the sex), but I paid a lot in expensive drinks and meals. The tinder freelancer cost me 2.5 m per 24 hours. Given the number of shots I was getting, really good value.

I think in many cities you can have a strategy and stick with it. I think in Saigon you need to have multiple approaches and try different things in a day. And when you find something that works, hold onto it but don't stop keeping your options open.

My two cents re Saigon.

I guess a go-go bar is one where there's a stage and a lineup of girls up there dancing to music in bikinis or sexy outfits, or maybe topless. You found such places? Can you please share which places and where we can find them? That will be very appreciated by all here, I'm sure.

[/QUOTE]I found them too. Sure looks like a scam to me. If it's legit, it's really expensive. I'd be willing to pay for a pre-arranged sure thing, since I'd rather not spend my one free night in HCMC unsuccessfully prowling bars. Has anyone tried this agency?

Johnny.[/QUOTE]The nickname I give to Vietnam is Viet-scam. If you pay a deposit you will never see that money again and there will be no way to get it back. I don't know anything about that company but I am familiar with Vietnam.

Was in HCM for work in last week of August. I have been coming to HCM for the last several years and what a change it has been. The airport visa has become a chaos which usually leads to an Hour at least waiting while they process your visa on arrival letter.

Anyway the biggest change I have noticed is in the Hotels in D1 where I usually stay. From frowning upon the guests having company all of them are going the BKK model with no q's asked.

Even the bell boys are suggesting massage with lovely ladies for 1 M.

Tried several women from wechat but no satisfaction received. First girl was completely flat, literally only nipples were present, she gave a decent massage. Second lady was very busty obviously full of silicone. Both were 1 M. The second one on asking said that I was her 5th customer of the night. I saw wow you are really raking it in.

The new night market for food near Ben Thanh has some good choices and inexpensive food available.

Happened to also visit Ho Tram which was good in terms of the beach, the casino and the nightclub inside had some hot hot performances by the dancers. Decent place for 1 or 2 nights. Ideally bring a girl with you from HCM or elsewhere.

Chatted to a lady on Tagged yesterday morning. She is a well kept and fit 38 year old business owner, reasonably attractive divorced for 5 years.
