It wasn't something that I left to chance back in the room. As I described in that report, it was a case of me specifically connecting the higher cost of taking them out of the bar with more and/or better service from them to justify the higher barfine. For example, BBFS (assume +CIP when I say that) or BBBJ+CIM or perhaps even BBBJ+CIM+Swallow. Otherwise, why in the world would they ask me to pay a higher barfine and why in the world would I pay it? "Special" damn well better mean something tangible and useful.

I can't update on what is currently the case (for me) at the Mandarin bars specifically since I have not taken a Mandarin Bar girl for a while, haven't even tried. Nothing against the Mandarin bars. It is just that I have been busier with other bars of late.

Re Mixx and Spasso.

Went to Spasso one time. And it was slow night. Later those same girl walked down the street to Mixx (right across the street) . Did not even bother to ask for prices at Spasso.

Re Mixx and Russians. Had one Russian lady ask me "how are you" in English, and I answered "harasho, spasiba. She was very amused by this (my Russian is actually minimal, but that still makes it better than 99% of non Russian foreigners in Thailand). I was told typical price is 6000 to as high as 8000 for short time, but she told me that at the end of the night, many girls will lower the price to 5000.
