It's your money but I like the stories
Hi xman
No, there was no "playing around" with ISG. It was a serious question and I was very interested to know if it was definitely bola or there was a chance it was true.
I didn't want to make the "story" too long, so I cut out a lot of not so relevant details. I didn't think the amount I sent was central to the question if hospitals locked up patients who don't pay. But happy to share a more details if u want to know.
I met my ST friend, Manilyn, and her gf, Joy, for a very nice st on my last visit to Angeles in late July/early August. Joy was a real sweetie and gave great service.
On around 1 August I got a text from Manilyn giving me the sob story about Joy having to go to hospital for an emergency and saying she needed 4000p. I was with another "friend" then and didn't want to go out of the bed and also I was flying to a province the next day, so I ignored the text, also thinking it was bola bola.
Anyway, lots more texts followed and I gave in and sent 3000p a few days later, thinking that would be the end of it.
However, when I got home to Australia a few days after that, I get another email saying they needed another 5000p, so I sent 4000p, again thinking that would be the end of it.
She's now saying they need ANOTHER 3000p to get her out of her lockup and that a lot of the money I sent before was for food for Joy etc etc etc. Even heavy stuff like Joy tried to escape and the guard caught her and that where Joy is staying there's no food, bed etc.
The total claimed bill (I vaguely recall her saying Joy's also being charged extra for being locked up!) was around 13000p
I really thought that getting hit for money three times for something that always sounded pretty suss was getting too much, so then I put the simplified story into ISG.
I didn't want to take up too much ISG space talking about hospitals when the main topic of interest is LBFMs!
So the conclusion of the never ending story is I will send the final 3000p cos there is a chance it's true and if it is true, I don't want that to happen to Joy as she is a real sweetie.
Happy for u to pm me if u want to know more.
I think you should continue to send money to her/him/it as long as they request it. There is a very small chance the request is genuine and will end after the emergency is over but it is vanishingly small.
I am sure she is a real sweetie, nothing would be sweeter, except the next girl you find. For some reason the last one always tastes the sweetest. How do they do that?
I like the stories and as long as you keep sending money you will have more and more excuses. I want to hear all the reasons they ask for money so don't stop sending the money now or there will be no further stories. I really want (as I am sure other ISG members) to hear how rediculous the excuses are and will become. Please continue to send money and post your stories here. Please don't hold back - and don't be a cheap Charlie.
Don't worry, you will not clog up the forum. We all love to hear these stories but perhaps you should move this conversation to Filipinas - Opinions and Advice.

Yellow Fever you sarcastic mofo LOL :D. Hey he is an ISG brother would you let your brother walk off a cliff?
Victorian throw this fish back into the pond from which it came. While the vote has been varied I vote she is playing you. Cut her loose a decent Filipina wouldn’t burden you with her personal problems like this.
You can lead a horse to water...

By the way Victorian I'm sort of down on my luck and my creditors are threatening to put me in jail. Can you send me some money? PM me for details.
Hahahaha! Hey me too! My car is broke (if I had one), and I can't work because my landlord locked me in my house (apartment), and the cable guy is threatening to turn off the TV (gasp!), and I can only drink the rain water that I catch in a soup can from my rooftop (water delivered once a month in two big water jugs), and, and, and, is 20,000 php too much??
Yella man, heheh love the sarcasm. Just what the board needs.
But seriously, Vic, do you really believe what you wrote on the board? Because I cannot. I offered you a legitimate alternative to Western Union and you went with the latter. Unbelievable.
Seriously though, Hospital Jail? With no food or water? What story will they think of next? A sick water buffalo? Oh yea, done already. OK, better stick with hospital jail.
One girl once told me she needed feed for her piglets in the province. I asked what was the name of said feed and she replied, "Piglet Booster!" I laughed my ass of on that one. Uh, for the record, pigs eat this thing called slop or more to the point, garbage. They really go crazy for it. Really!
Again I say, OMG! Man, times is tough in PI :)
