Cartagena a city of a million people, where you can try 2 hide, but eventually.
As many of you know, Cartagena is a very special city to me for many reasons, with the biggest reason being the amount of great friendships I have established through the years. The thing I hate the most about Cartagena, a city with over a million people, is that it is hard to get purposely lost if you stay in the Laguito or Bocagrande area. Everyone knows everybody, and word travels as it was on teletype, telegraph or television.
On this trip, I have been making a strong point to have my stay be as private as possible, as I am basically here visiting a couple of nonputas, and did not want other friends coming knocking on my door, or having security call me. I actually had told Gonzo about this when we were eating breakfast in the morning, telling him that there were two girls especially I did not want to see.
So what happens, I walk my girlfriend out to get a taxi, and I happen to run into Gonzo again. I speak to him for about 5 minutes, and lo and behold, one of the two girls I said I did not want to let know I was here walks up to me and Gonzo, and says my name, and begins the questioning. This particular girl is not a girl that frequents the Laguito area, and infact, lives quite a ways away.
The moral of my story is. Cartagena is a city of a million people, but a person can try to hide, but eventually you will be found. Next thing I know I have the regular working girls who live across the street from the building my apartment is located in calling for me. It is now time to move on to El Rodadero.
El Rodadero was a better choice to start with.

Lets see, far better water and beach. Lower prices and you are mostly unknown. Leave CTG to the Newbes who are now flocking there.
