Mikado & Dotonbori strip theaters
Anybody interested in looking at the shaved ladies might want to note that Ikebukuro Mikado has Paipan Taikai scheduled for the ten days from February 1 to 10. Have fun.
What a coincidence--I went there this morning and was *very* surprised to find all ladies shaved. Now I know why! I got there at 12:00 and still had a problem finding a seat. Some old coot (me in a few years) was practically passed out with his bottle holding a free seat in the third row, but he obligingly woke up enough to make room for me. The show was over-the-top, and it reinforces my belief that for sheer erotic display, show-biz star quality, and unshakable poise and grace, you can't beat a good set of Japanese strip-theater dancers. The standout gal today did an amazing set in a barbarian costume all decked out with tiger skin, white minks, and no panties that ended up in a protracted dildo set. You could have heard the crowd gulping during the few moments not drenched in applause. She even did the dildo with polaroids. Whew! I had filled up on beer from the 500 yen machine and could hardly wait out the final "all girls on stage shaking their bootie" routine, but I held it as long as I could. Just as they were taking their final bow I slipped into the men's room and unloaded about a quart. While in mid-stream the stage door opened and five out of six of the gals trooped in and onward into another "staff only" door! Talk about a goofy place for a men's room.Yesterday I found the Dotonbori Shibuya theater and found another excellent ensemble. Every gal sported the traditional muff, but the show was first rate. The Dotonbori management provided streamers for a few of the gals--the stars? Wish I knew. Also, the polaroid situation was intolerable--everybody was getting polaroids, sometimes delaying the next act 20 minutes! I think that the regulars bought packets of discount coupons for the polaroids, and when it was each guys turn each pretended that he was Ken Marcus. Just take the freakin' picture! The management wasn't as welcoming as at the Mikado, and the afternoon price a bit higher. Anywhere know where to find the OS Shibuya? I've walked all over the location on this map (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=109611849150422532546.000441bece037115a5454&z=12&om=0) and haven't been able to track it down. Finally, I paid a visit to NYNY in Ueno. Wow, what fun! For 9,500 you get 50 solid minutes of fun, and in my case the gal--"Rabbit"--was sweet and funny, albeit a bit flat chested. Still, what a sweetie, and great nipples! The location makes it a snap to take the Keisei SKyliner from Narita and take in a show at the Ueno Theater, get your ashes hauled at NYNY, and be back on the plane all in a 6 hour stopover.
Final Strip Theater Report (and map resource)
I'm just about ready to leave Tokyo and have completed my Google maps project on strip theaters in the Tokyo area. Since nobody can possibly remember the link (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=109611849150422532546.000441bece037115a5454&ie=UTF8&ll=35.710838,139.767036&spn=0.119313,0.228653&z=12&om=0), just go to Google maps (http://maps.google.com) and search for keywords like "tokyo strip theater" and the results should bring up my work, the "Tokyo Strip Theater Guide." I've personally confirmed the locations of all except for OS Shibuya, and have linked pictures to all the clubs on the list. If I could find the theater's official website I've posted that link in the placemark box as well as other details I could gather. I visted the Asakasua Rockza yesterday for the first show at 1:00 (Sunday) and was not as impressed as some I was with some of the other theaters. It is a much less intimate theater with a huge stage and a runway so long it is equipped with a little round subway car to carry the dancer off at the end of her set.In some ways, the Rockza reminded me of the late (and greatly lamented) Raymond Revue Bar in London, as every set began with a multi-girl showpiece, except that the Rockza version was "G" rated. One of the girls would eventually stroll forward on the runway and the final three songs would lead to the typical soulfully erotic poses that seem to characterize strip theater in Japan. Then the dancer would graceful step onto her chariot, and she would be transported slowly back to where the curtains would close on her nude but gaily waving form.I counted a total of twelve dancers in the finale, all of whom wore outfits consisting of wide satin ribbons that clearly indicated the panty-less state of all but two. What's up with the two who wore the black panties? I don't remember them from any of the performances. Is the Rockza theater a place where apprentice dancers earn their wings, or similar? The whole performance was pretty squeaky clean--not an inserted finger or even the hint of a dildo at any time. The audience also seemed to be much more reserved than the enthusiasts at some other theaters. For the record, my favorite remains the Mikado-Gekijyo in Ikebukero, followed by the Ueno theater. The streamers at Rockza were excellent, by the way.I took the chance while snapping pictures of NYNY and Champs to try the latter, and I'm convinced those two establishments must share the same management. Even the newbie card reading "No sexual intercourse!" is identical. I drew an older lady named Anna and had a great time with her, and appreciated the bigger tub mentioned by another contributor to this forum. For a non-FS monger like myself, it is hard to beat the price/performance for either NYNY or Champs, and both are completely free of drama regarding my gaijin status. And what a great way to warm up on a snowy day! For the sake of newbies, I posted the locations of those places (and a few others of interest) on a Google map as well (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=109611849150422532546.000441c0fe6a62cd7a1b2&ll=35.70905,139.772159&spn=0.000932,0.001786&z=19&om=0)
