Great report, I think 1500 in LA cafe is ok. There are gold diggers everywhere on planet earth, so general precaution is advised...BUT, I don't think one will find girls anywhere, who would just go without asking money or just take whatever is offered.

When we start getting girls from DIA, Filipina heart and bars also, it averages out in the end in our favor to a very high degree. If one stays here for six to one year and have 100 girls or more, we will begin to see the whole picture crystal clear ....

100 girls * 1500 =150,000, yet if one dates normal girls and manage to hook up with say 30 girls (which anyone with a breath can do here), but say we pay for their taxi or some food etc, which cant be avoided in most cases.. 300 to 400 pesos.

30*400 = 12000

now, 70*1500=105000

105000+12000 = 117,000 for 100 girls which comes to 1170 for each girls in six months to one year time, of course, PH dating is parabolic, the more you stay here, the more regular girls you would date...so 1170 would be like around 700 to 800 pesos for each girl at the end of the year.

Ultimately, in six months to one year time, a guy can sleep with around 100 girls for 700 to 800 pesos.

Moral of the analysis is to sleep with as many girls as possible :D, one won't be able to avoid the gold diggers, so to overcome that inherent negative equation in mongering, its better to date as many girls as possible during your stay here and it wouldn't be late when the tide of money to girls ratio turns in your favor.

From my personal experience, 90% of the Filipino girls are really cool.

My strategy tends to be not to discuss price in advance. Then, in the morning while the gal is taking a shower, I'll put P1500-2500 (depending on her service) in her bag, in her jeans pocket, or tucked under her cell phone, etc., making sure that the money is at least partially visible. That way she knows she has been paid, but unless she is a totally hardened pro, she will be too shy to actually grab the bills and count them in my presence.

In the event that the gal brings up the topic of money in advance, either before leaving LA Cafe, in the taxi or when we get into the room, I usually say something like, 'It depends on your energy and attitude. I would not pay you less than P1500, but it could be more than that if we have a really nice time together.' Though I don't have any scientific evidence to prove it, my feeling is that this tactic tends to be a pretty effective GFE motivator.

I am thinking about spending a weekend in Manila. I want to mostly find freebies by using DIA. I have heard of people planning trips around DIA dates in Cebu, but does it work as well in Manila?

Also, since I'm in my 20s and decent looking, I think I might be able to find freebies if I go out to nightclubs. There aren't many previous posts on this subject though. Does anyone know what nightclubs might be good for meeting freebies?

I'm also trying to figure out where's a good place to stay if I want to meet people on DIA and bring them back to my room. The Sogo by the Harrison Mall seems like a good place. Is that about right?

Lots of bars and clubs out there. But don't let your Western thinking get to you. Being young and decent looking isn't worth much in Manila compared to some of us who are lets say older and decent looking and in decent shape.

You will notice that Filipinas (not all) have a marked preference for older guys (read 50 plus, no beer belly, not bald etc) as they know they are more patient, kind, and possibly richer LOL.

Young will only get you the young ones. Being older will get you the younger, the middle and the older. And a Filipina over 30 knows things about sex that a young gal hasnt even thought of in my experience.

Also DIA might or might now work for you. Whilst all gals put the 18-80 age range, I'm not sure how well they would take to a young guy.(the equation they make is young doesn't have money, older does.). Welcome to Manila!

It is now mentioned here and on other sites quite often as a "short-time"hotel, and they have expanded business to include this option. So you can stay there, or you can hire their special short-time rooms for short, 3-hour sessions too.

Now Freebie me and you have always got along but this is a load of bull. You telling all us here that a young handsome dude will get looked over for an older guy just because of a perceived wallet size? It depends on your outward appearance I would think. If the younger guy looks like shit and the older guy is well dressed thus illustrating money then of course.....

The US Marines have hit Angeles (in-town to help with the flood relief). From what I have read off another forum the regulars are “heading for the hills” because they are being ignored.

As we all know Filipinas are extremely shallow and who better to be seen with than a handsome dude around their same age or some older guy who is just a wallet and that everyone knows is just a wallet?

We tend to think Filipinos don’t know what’s going on but they do. Now me I couldn’t challenge you outright for while I am not bad looking I am “racially challenged” LOL but I would bet a month’s paycheck that some decent looking Caucasian guy from the US, UK or Spain would clean up in Manila and I am not talking about with those brown provincial types we see posted here a lot.

I always start my nights off at the Green belt and there is no shortage of young Caucasian guys walking around there with stunning educated.... I mean stunning Filipinas nothing like what you see here. I even talked about it in one of my most recent trip reports.

People are attracted to youth its human nature. That’s why we go to the bars and usually a lady between the ages of 18-25 is ordered and then bragged about here.

Not to disappoint you, but just a weekend and trying to go with DIA girls is like Filipino roulette, yaa no words like that which is exactly more likely you could expect, as you will never know what kind of girls you will be with for couple of days. Never mind the 100 of pics and cam hours you spend seeing her, you could expect her to be entirely different than when you saw her online.

Add to that, its your very first trip, man the odd's are highly against you, Philippines is the best place to get laid for free but still we are on planet earth and doing females, it takes right time and right place etc etc to get laid in your very first trip and that too for just couple of days and from hard on DIA girls who have seen the game in Manila.

i'm not discouraging you, only thing is if it does not go the way you think, you may never think of coming back again and at that point would be your big mistake to skip PH.

You could score at night clubs, but it could be freelancer or a semi pro etc., you need to spend some time to see which one is a hooker and which one is for free here. else, you could expect paying for sick aunt and buffalos together on your very first trip.

With that being said, come with an open mind and don't expect to much on your weekend trip, you still have bars to go with if nothing works out.

Sogo Malate have some proper hotel rooms that are not too bad. They are on the upper floors and rarely used as ST rooms. I think that they are branded as Executive Rooms.

Eurotel also have basic but livable rooms. They are located in P Gil and are within walking distance of LAC.

But as FF pointed out, all there rooms are without windows and hence no natural light. OK for a night or two but not much more.

I used to be a younger guy in Phils and now I'm an older one. I've seen both sides of the fence.

I've talked to and been with the ladies of various professions, and the general comments seem to be that a decent professional guy like me with all the confidence and assurance that comes from having achieved some successes in life, looking and dressing the part, attracts them as much if not more than a younger guy who is all energy and hormones.

Maybe these comments were tailored to my ears. But having dated 20 year olds to 40 year olds (dated, wined dined screwed and gone back fro multiple repeats) then I think my opinion is as valid as the next mans.

I'm not talking here about shallow dancing girls. But girls who work for the multinationals (can scream in multiple languages LOL) and look good on your arm. Just MPOV.

Go for it. If the freebies don't work out, there are plenty of p4p option.

I don't know much about nightclubs / discos in Manila. There is the Cowboy Grill in Ermita. Disco on Taft...is it called Nirvana? I can't remember. You have Hard Rock Cafe in Makati and the Fort and some other places best described by the Makati regulars.

As for DIA, meet them for lunch. You'll still have the evening if things don't go smoothly. X

Nirvana is on Taft in Pasay. Near Buendia, IIRC. Large disco with live band. Dunno about the action as I was with a local girl and her friends. Cowboy Grill also has live bands. Smaller nightclubs in Malate around Remedios Circle though I don't remember any offhand to recommend. Hard Rock Cafe in Glorietta. Cafe Havana in Greenbelt. I understand Embassy (at the Fort) is still closed, but there's a nightclub next to it that draws upscale locals. I had the sense that one has to have game to get anywhere there.

Thanks for extra info. I'd forgotten about Malate. I think one place is called Bedrock. There is another place closer to the church with a Spanish name which is popular. This whole area is crowded on the weekends. It's mostly a young crowd.

Watch out which clubs/bars you frequent around Remedios. Many are now for big boys only. Walked into one new bar near the circle one night, sat down, ordered a drink and looked round and then wondered why there were only men in the bar and they were all blowing kisses at me? Tell you, I surely beat the Guinness world record for downing a bottle of SMB!
