Hey guys,

Just wanted to see what the mongering situation will be like in August during this music festival? I'm just starting to read and basically I've discovered that if I want a good time for a good price you need to know the local language. I am doing more research in coming weeks. My question is will there be an influx of English speaking girls during this festival and is there a medium to search for them? Any advice would be appreciated?

Pretty much all of the rest us Budapest regulars in this board say otherwise.

And to your question about Sziget Festival sure you can manage with english there. There are lot of other tourists also from all over Europe visiting that.

Sziget is a very popular music festival & it attracts hordes of youth from many countries. Hungarian youth too, but no working girls. The festival will influence the real estate renting the most. The prices will be higher & apartments harder too book, especially if you wait for the last moment. Yes, if you want to have access to young hotties at normal prices you need to speak Hungarian language & no there is not only 1 person who is saying that. If you are foreigner who does not speaking Hungarian language it is more likely that you will be quoted higher prices for foreigners. Also, it is definitely sure that your choice will be limited to English speaking working girls only.

Yes, that was the funny thing exactly in this comparison, that she who speaks the better English, turns down the English speaking clients. The fake profile stuff was not just my speculation, she's mentioning it in her Hungarian intro text right now, and why would she make up such a thing if it wasn't true. But it's not that important anyway. And about the ratings in general: I know that it's always slippery ground to call someone "excellent", as it may depend on several factors, e. G. the good or bad day of the girl, the sympathy and chemistry between the girl and the client, etc. Sometimes even my two appointments with the same girl can turn out very differently, so when I say excellent, it's rather just the short for "it's the girl on the pictures, she looks good IRL as well, and her attitude is also decent enough to give you a fair chance to have an excellent time with her on the right day".

Any advice would be appreciated?[/QUOTE]Although I have never specifically tested it, I don't think that the week of Sziget Festival would be the best time of the year for mongering in Budapest, at least if you mean "searching for paid sexual service" by mongering. That is the highest tourist season in the city, when at the same time quite a few of the regular working girls are on holiday themselves (some of them actually going to the Festival, but not to work there). So I reckon that the balance between demand and supply is hardly optimal on that week.

Of course you can still try to make it, but I would rather call your attention that on the other hand that is also the best season of the year to get in connection with non-working Hungarian (or non-Hungarian) girls, who do go to the Festival in great numbers, and are notorious of their, ehm, openness to foreign guys. So perhaps you should try your luck in that game. (But of course that's just one personal opinion and I don't want to put you off anything.).

In previous years it was even too much sometimes, when the busiest days of the Festival and the Formula 1 Budapest Grand Prix were organized for the same weekend, at least we'll escape that coincidence this year.

In fact, it kind of surprised me recently when a gal I saw last year, and we have slightly stayed in touch, offered to either host or come to me on my upcoming trip. Majority of girls are okay with Asian guys.
