The place looked great, but I came way to early. It was noon, and plenty of women, but no stand outs. Well, the was one, but she went up twice in the first 20 min I was there. Nice link about Adelita. I have heard bits and pieces about the origin of the name and icon but it was nice to be able to read a little more about it.

As for the remodel, I like it. I know some think it takes away from the old ambiance but I think it will be more comfortable and easier to navigate on busy weekend nights. I think first timers will be surprised by what it looks like now.

I haven't been to Adelitas since the long-awaited remodel. It is still loud and smoky, but the bathrooms sure seem nice. I went with a hottie who called herself Claudia and was very glad I did. I usually go for the B girls or more indian featured hotties, but Claudia seemed to be very friendly and enthisastic about her work AND she was an above average looking blonde. Everything was real, no modifications, and only one small tattoo. She looked even better upstairs with only a few stretch marks visible in good lighting. I would definitely recommend!

I've been to adelitas only a handful of times and I this one was probably my best experience despite all the negatives

I had the opportunity to come back to AB after a full year. The bar interior has changed towards the more elegant. Now they have plasma screens on the walls. The restrooms are definitely much improved.

I was there on a Thursday evening, and the place was hopping. There were many decent lookers, some stunners. There have been times where I would have been totally happy with this. For what it's worth guys, [b]La Famosa Tania[/b] taught me to always first throw the bedspread or top blanket on the floor and then to inspect the sheet or blanket underneath. If there are any problems, insist that the girl makes the ranchero change the bed immediately. And that the time doesn't start until the room is clean.

As Tania said, at $11 you're paying enough for a clean room for the night, never accept a dirty room for 20 minutes.

I've had street girls demand the same at Hotel Cascades as well. One time with my amiga Areli at Cascades, we threw back the bedspread only to find a rubber underneath. You should have seen the shit-fit she threw. I'm not sure exactly what she said but I heard 'cochino' half a dozen times. And she sure had them hopping to change the bed entirely. What's up guys? I had a chance to take a trip to Tijuas on Tuesday for some minor car repair. I had 3+ hours to kill, so I decided to go over to ABs and relax for a little.

This is my first trip report so bear with me. It's start with Adelita's but ends at chicago so I figured I post it in the Adelita's forum. Here goes.

Well, it had been a month and half since I had made a trip south. Which was a monumental event, considering I was going once every other week! So not going in for a month and half was kind of a big deal. Man was I dropping a lot of cash! Yeessh! Anyway, I digress. I was sitting at home on Monday night, which is a rarity for me because I work nights, when I got the itch to go. So I grabbed a nice DR MAD Cigar sparked it up and made a cash run.

I hit the border at about 11:00 p.m., hopped in a cab and headed for AB’s. As we were pulling up to AB’s I see one of the girls coming out of the hotel. I wasn’t really concerned with pleasures of the flesh at the moment. So I sat there for about an hour and enjoyed the atmosphere. Strangely enough there were three 3 American Guys and gal dancing on the Stage with one of the working class. The American Chic seemed to be having a good time and was bumping and grinding on the Chica. The Guys were enjoying it immensely as was the other 5 guys in CC’s. As I was watching them dance I started to look around for my second chica of the evening. However, the selection was thin so it wasn’t looking good. I usually got to Juan’s on the corner near AB’s, he’s teamed up with the Taco vendor there but alas all the hotdog vendors had closed shop for the night, so I settled for the Taco stand. I downed my taco’s and coke and jumped in a cab and headed home. All in all it wasn’t a bad little excursion. It’ll probably be my last for a while. Got to stop spending so much damn money down there!

Went to AB's for the first time last night. My second time in TJ, my first time at ABs. I went solo.

Using my previous exeperience, I only paid the cabbie 5 bucks and went straight to ABs. I didnt pay him 7 bucks and get talked into a massage palor, even tho he asked if I like massages - lol, sneaky bastard.

ABs is off the chain! O'tools guide says its not a strip club, but this place was going off. It was PACKED! Beers are like $3.25 so there are a bit more than the $2 I was expecting. I watched like 4 girls dance, and just stood around drinking and soaking it all in. Lots of hot chicks with the uglier ones hanging around the back. I never approached a girl at ABs before, so I didnt know what to do. ONce I had like 4 beers, I was ready to get laid. But all in all it was fun and I spent even less this time around. I was proud of myself for that! Thanks in part to this forum!

I was down on Friday night in a taxi. LE set up a check point as soon as you entered town. Stopping, searching and harassing. It seemeded like they were targeting nice looking rides. Taxis got waved through.

AB does have strip shows intermittently, but it is not your US strip club.

As you become more comfortable in TJ, you can switch off to the local cab company, which will get you to the Zona Roja or specifically AB for $3, and that includes tip. You pick up the cab on the side of the bus station. Enter TJ through the gates. Cross the street and go left. About a block dowm around the corner on the right you will see the people standing on line.


OOPs, forgot - the name of the cab company is Taxi Libre, white cars, orange lettering. Have him run the meter.
