Gentlemen,

We all know that there is at least one 'member' on the forum who has simply forgotten to pay his subscription to keep this wonderful site running and Jackson just a little less out of pocket in doing so.

Last year, I was pleased to pay for a subscription for this unknown soldier as well as one for myself. I see in the control panel that the subscription for the forgetful member is coming up in August for renewal.

May I suggest that if there is anyone who would like to pick up the subscription for the next term (there was a bug on the credit card processing engine that wouldn't allow me to do 2 x 1 year subs at the same time - so it was a 6 month membership) that they are welcome to do so? If so, please post a quick note to let me know that this has been taken care of.

If not, and I fully appreciate how busy we all are, I will be happy to continue paying for our forgetful member in the expectation that he will remember eventually and do so. I and we are amply rewarded with the information so freely shared on this forum.

being a novice to computers, it`s bad enough trying to teach myself the functionings.

however, i feel this problem: copy and paste, the 30 minute issue, is a problem.

this is robbing the forum of some quality posts, mine zipped out into ciberspace a few weeks back. very fustrating. got to put in rapid fire reports now.

fuck, how to copy and paste?

i`m sure this is an ongoing issue. one that drives us all nuts.

first, to copy:

1. click anywhere in your report.
2. click "control-a" to highlight all of your text.
3. click "control-c" to copy the text into the clipboard.

to paste:

1. click anywhere into a blank report window.
2. click "control v" to paste your text back into the report window.

if this doesn't make sense to you, i would suggest that you call a friend who understands computers and ask him/her to show you. it takes about 2 minutes to learn how to do this.

second, i understand your comments about having a long report get lost in the flow of the thread, which is why i would suggest that in addition to your long report that you also post a short summary and a link to your long report in the reports of distinction section where it can be referred to by others.

btw, you always have the option to compose your reports in another program (i.e. wordpad, notepad, ms word) or even in your email program (gmail is great because it automatically saves your text every few minutes as an autodraft and it has a built-in spellchecker). after you've finished composing your report, you can then copy and paste it into the forum.

Just wanted to comment on the criteria for reports of distinction.

My feeling is that they should be reports provide outstanding information or a very clear summary of all the information that a newby might need in a particular situation.

I have seen a few reports recently recommended by the editor that really did not provide much information. There were several very long winded posts by Surfer in the Hanoi thread and a recent one by Lukaa in the Hangxhou thread.

I just think that the criteria for reports of distinction should be quite selective in order to maximise the usefullness of this special thread.

This would save you from reminding the respondents that they are in the wrong place, as you are doing now.

I post photos whenever I can, but the board is full of voyeurs who do nothing else but comment (and flame). That's okay, but why should it be in the photo section?

I'd like to be able to do that, but the admin screen that the forum software provides for selecting and moving reports from one thread to another thread does not indicate if the report has a photo or not, so I don't know which are the non-photo reports that need to be selected.

Moving them individually is also a pain because because you can't just move one report, you have to first split the one report out of the source thread into a new temporary thread, and then as a seperate function merge that new temporary thread into the target thread where you want the report to be.

Believe me, if there was an easy way to do this I'd have been doing it all along.

I think photos are an essential part of the ISG, especially in that it can give mongers an idea of what to expect at certain destinations in terms of local girls appearances, appeal, value/worth for money. But sadly it seems that too many photos are devoted to close-up shots of body orifices which sort of defeats the purpose of this forum. If I wanted close-ups of body orifices, I could go to any of the 6 zillion porn sites at the click of a button. I'm sure I would get bored pretty quick because after all a hole is a hole is a hole.

Please, lets make the photo galleries more useful (and informative) by giving us an actual glimpse of the honeys at the locales visited by the mongers rather than anuses at 100 times magnification.

Well, it's nice to know I'm not the only poster who feels this way. IMHO, posting photos are useless unless you can see the entire girl! Showing just a closeup of an asshole doesn't help at all and adds no value to the forum; that asshole could be from anyone. And covering up the faces of the girls doesn't help either. This is a site about sharing info. We should be helping each other out by posting the full photo of the girl, and willing to give her contact info if another member requests it. The free flow of information between members is what makes this such a great sport-fucking site. If you must cover up a face in your pics, cover your own, but not the girl's!

Besides, if the girl you're posting a picture of is so special to you, perhaps you shouldn't be posting her pic on this kind of site in the first place...

I agree with the above regarding XXX photos. On a site dedicated to "the exchange of information between men on the topic of sex with women", these types of photos serve no other purpose than inflating the photographer's/monger's ego and/or show off their latest "trophies". No informational value whatsoever for anyone else. In addition, they also seem to attract a fair number of

- "fantasy" (rather than real-life) mongers living vicariously and visually through the experience of others,
- "amateur photo fetishists", and
- general wankers using ISG like any other porn site out there.

Needless to say, neither group does anything but comment on these photos while adding no mongering information at all (because they haven't got any!).

IMHO, other than general travel-related photos as permitted by the ISG Photo Guidelines, there should only be two types of photos of women:

1) Photos of P4P providers, to give other mongers an idea of what is available out there, including pertinent info (where, when, how much, plus contact info),
2) Photos of non-pros, to give other mongers an idea of what women look like in general in a specific country or location.

I do think, however, that even with the face or the eyes of a model covered, a photo can have informational value, certainly much more so than mere penetration and cum shots. Whether to cover a girl's face or not, I would ultimately leave up to the individual photographer, though I do agree with Ezinho that photographers that are concerned about privacy issues should seriously consider not posting such pictures in the first place.

They say "a picture is worth a thousand words". To be honest, I was perfectly happy in the good old days of WSG, when there were no photos at all.

I have recently reviewed several thread and found their topics to be quite lacking, I humbly suggest to Jackson or other moderators on the site to institute a new system to encourage member to either put usefull reports or aks pertinent questions to other members and behave better towards each other.
My guideline would go based on a score system.

Ounce you reach warning level 11, you will be banned permanently or shot down to regular member or an quivelant measure. There will also be an option in the configuration menu warning a member of his penalty points that way the member know that he is fucking up or about to fuck up big time, that way Jackson or other modertors can identify problems more quickly and nip them in the bud it would also be a time consuming measure I imagine Jackson spends quite alot of his time trying to put down petty problems with board members, with this new system he will automatically know who to shut down ounce they reach a certain number.
