The new law means that one can not only take advantage of the availability of marijuana, but smoke without the worry that a cop will soon be knocking at the door.

This does not sound near as good as Amsterdam or Colorado. Still Montevideo has its charms. If I am ever in the neighborhood again, Brazil / Argentina way, I will make it a point to stop by and spend a few days with the girls. its been a long time since I was down south. I am into Asian girls.

Unless something has changed very recently, cell phone numbers in Uruguay starts with 09 plus 7 digits.
In case you call from abroad you should add +598 in front and omit the 0.
As far as I know, text and whatsapp works fine.
