Arcana Show Club - Chania
This opened quite recently. I was told that it is run by the same people who operate Medusa. Location is behind the market. I think there used to be another strip club in these premises. Arcana appears to have been fully renovated.
Girls: here is a plus. High quality, some very pretty indeed, mostly young, and plenty of them! Very nice intelligent conversation in English with a few. A *very* big plus here is a seeming emphasis on a young natural fresh look. Hats off to whoever thought of that. There was a variety of body types for all tastes eg spinners, tall girls, natural boob girls, and one or two obligatory big titty girls. Decor: unlike the pleasing, atmospheric quasi-harem-Eastern look of Medusa, this looks more loud modern strip bar. Lots of expensive spot lights, smoke machine and blaring DJ music (but too loud and tacky). There are several poles/podiums for dancing. They've clearly spent money here and tried hard. That is to be commended. However the atmosphere, while clean and new, is slightly cold and sterile which is not helped by the incessant low-brow bump and grind dance music. What's wrong with pop songs? '80s? Classic or Indie rock? And you can't talk to the girls if it's too loud. These girls are indeed worth talking to.
What is on offer: Not much I'm afraid. G-strings stay on during pole dances and unfortunately (at least for this reviewer and with the one girl) in the "private" dances as well. Groping was limited. You can work up to a bit of a cuddle and stroke their thighs while they're having a drink with you. It's possible I was unlucky so don't be undeterred. Sadly no indication at all that girls could be taken out of the bar or would meet for extracurricular activity. The few I asked said no quite clearly.

Chania - Medusa and Red Light District
