I've not found much in English (there's some stuff on German-language boards) about the scene in Chur, the capital of Graubünden canton. For a town of its size (pop 33,500), it has a very prominent red light district. This is situated in Welschdörfli and adjacent streets (leave the Altstadt by the Obertor town gate and cross the bridge over the river Plessur). It contains the following (not guarranteed a complete list):

The salons look like walk-up apartments. The Bar Night Clubs are hostess bars but -- though nothing is cheap in Switzerland -- they are not rip-offs: buy the appropriate amount of drink and you can have sex. The girls tend to be from Eastern Europe or South America.

Chur is an attractive historic town to visit, and has good transport connections. The establishments above are additional reasons to stay there!

I have been to the Vulcano Bar Night Club three times over the last few years. It is located in what I think of as Chur's red light district (see previous post) at Welschdörfli 14. There are a number of establishments at this address; Vulcano is on the first floor, entered from the left-hand side of the building.

Some details have changed over the years, but it has remained broadly the same. As you enter from the stairs there a bar counter in front of you and to your right is a stage area where the girls do occasional strips. If you buy a drink at the bar, pretty soon a girl will approach you and after a little conversation will (surprise, surprise) ask you to buy her a drink. You can buy something cheaper and talk to her at the bar or buy something more expensive and go somewhere more private. So if you know you want to get more intimate it's cheaper to go for the champagne straight away, and not pay for the drinks at the bar. On the other hand, if you're not sure or want to suss out what's going on you could go for the first option.

When I was there in March I went for option 2 because a really attractive dark-haired Brazilian girl called Cynthia asked me for a drink. A half bottle of champagne was 190 CHF (about €120) and we went round the corner to a more private area of the bar -- not a separate room: you could still see the stage from it.

When we there she offered sex for an additional 200 CHF. For a higher fee we could have gone to a private room, but I like doing it in a semi-public area. So she got out a condom and we started kissing and fondling. All would have been perfect if we hadn't got into a vigorous session of mutual masturbation and I came before I could stop myself.

The actual area is off a street called Avenue de Sevelin, which runs from Rue de Geneve down to Ave de Tivoli. Off Sevelin, there are several streets called Sevelin A, B, C and also Rue de Sebeillon. If you go along Ave de Sevelin though you can't miss them. Rue de Sebeillon also runs up to Rue de Geneve eventually, although I don't know there is any action on Geneve itself - is there?

Athough the area is an industrial estate, it's well-lit and doesn't feel threatening - well, no more than many a SW area. There are some very good-looking transexuals, so be careful (or ask nicely - they probably won't take offence) if you want to avoid pretty chicks with dicks.

On prices, although 50 to 100CHF sounds a lot for a SW, bear in mind that generally includes (as it does in the Geneva Red Light) taking you back to her place rather doing it outside, so this puts it more on a par with other European prices perhaps.

Ave de Sevelin is walkable from the city centre or railway sation - about 20 minutes. You can get a free map from the tourist info next to the station and also a list of hotels and B&Bs. If you are on a budget, you can find a handy and respectable B&B (if very basic) for about 50CHF a night on Ave de Tivoli.

the cabarets in lausanne tend to be among best value in all of switzerland, with drinks, and especially the girls cheaper than zurich, lugano, basle or geneva.

for a start two places run by the same management, la belle epoque and tiffany offer bottles of beer at chf9.50, which is under half the usual price, so you can easily go for a couple of beers without harming the wallet.

also you can view the girls and switch clubs if you don't like, or can't get a good deal.

in la belle epoque there always seems to be a big majority of moroccan girls, with quality only average imo. last time in tiffany quality wasn't great either.

other central cabarets include paradou (beer chf23) and brummells (beer also about 25 i think)

the latter two places have much better quality of girls - mainly ee. paradou offers separe, and it's possible to get bottle an hour + your beer thrown in for chf300 if you negotiate with the management. girls' prices vary dramatically. one russian girl offered me an hour for chf100 (so total 400 for separe), and promised owotc. the same girl offered 2 hours in her apartment for 200, but then i would have to pay 400 to cabaret for "release". anyhow i think the russian chick was spaced out, so i declined, knowing i could get better value by getting a girl back to my hotel and cutting out the cabaret.

the other girls in paradou were typically asking 400, but will come down to 300, then it's up to you to negotiate time and services. make 100% sure you're not paying for a one-bang session, and pay after.

brummells is the classiest joint, and the priciest. it advertises most and gets lots of business guys on expenses accounts from my experience, happy to throw their money around, making the girls here very lazy for their money.
sure, they are sexy as hell, and it's worth popping in for a look and witnessing a few dances. the hard sell will soon happen with a girl draping herself all over you, desperate to get you to part with enough cash for a bottle of champagne, or if that fails, a "demi" bottle, or failing all else, a coupe at the bar. the bottle will buy you nothing but her company. you're best trying to negotaite direct with the girl for a meeting at 5am (they usually leave about 0430 if it's quiet), or next day if you are free. the starting price may well be about 800, and i've found it impossible to negotiate lower than 500 with anyone from brummells, though that was for 3 hours and bbbj, with a russian girl. oh, i did get a quote of 300 from a slightly larger girl (size 12) 2 days ago, but she failed to send an sms, so i don't know if it was genuine.

when i'm hunting in lausanne (or any swiss city) i hop from one club to another and discreetly hand my cell phone number to any girl who offers good price, and tell her to sms me when she is changing at the end of her shift. then, depending on the number of smss i get at around 0430-0450, and the prices/services agreed i respond to one and arrange a meet to bring her back to my hotel. any other smss i get if i like the girl i reply next morning saying "sorry i fell asleep - why not come over before you start work" and this has worked too!!

there is one other cabaret worth mentioning too if you are out near the red light district - down rue de geneve. carry on a little way past the red light district and where there's a garage and italian restuarant on the right hand side, near a junction, turn sharp right (almost double back on yourself), and it's just there. quality of girls was good the one time i was in there last month, but didn't strike a deal. sorry, can't remember exact name or address, but i think it used to be at rue de geneve 100 (and may still be listed as that in some tourists literature/map guides), but it's now the italian restaurant i mentioned above, so the club itself is just around the corner.

Club Palace in Root-Gisikon is a nice establishment next to the Root-Gisikon train station and bus station. You can go there by bus from Luzern-about 35 minutes, or by train from Zug, or you can just call the club and they can send you a private taxi car which also you can use on your way back from the club.

It is a classic club with sauna area which you have to pay more if you would like to use, or you pay a basic fee that you enter only the bar area and you search for your lady. I was welcomed with an Austrian lady that I was not very attrcated, but it was a late saturday evening and I could not see a more attractive girl who was free. All of them were occupied with other customers. Also my experience tells that if a girl is talking, smiling and able to make/understand jokes, sex is generally good. So we went up together at the end and guys, believe me she was the hottest lady I paid for in my life. The oral was perfect with her desire. Her nick was Charline but then I learnt that she left the Club later after 2 weeks.

But the rooms are very clean and every room has a theme. The hot tube in some rooms are fantastic especially if the lady makes you massage in the hot tube. The prices are reasonable for Switzerland.
