A quick update about my stay in Benin last week. I have nothing to say about Port-Novo, where I stayed for a few days because I had too much work, but will give you a few tips about Cotonou.

About the hotels, I can tell you that the Hotel du Port (rooms just average, but a nice pool and restaurant) is guest-friendly. As often in Africa, you always find a way to bring a girl to your room. I asked at the reception and they said ok, but only if the girl gives her I'd. Few hours later, when I came back with a girl with no I'd, she could get in without any problems.

The girls:

Girls are very easy to get. Non-pros are always open for a chat and it does not seem too difficult to put them in your bed if you want. I did not have enough time and availability to do so, but I chatted a few girls in the street and waitresses and it was not long before I had telephone numbers. But as I said, it was in vain as I did not used them. Some girls are very good looking and if you speak enough french, you will see that some of them are even not too silly.

I went to "New York", which seems to be one of the spots for WG. I stayed there few hours on a Saturday night and there was a good croud. Some local guys, lebanese and a few white guys were there, surronded by 20. 30 girls to be picked.

I noticed a few nice looking girls and selected one that was really skinny, as I like them. Took her back to the hotel for two pops. I wanted to ask her to stay overnight but changed my mind and sent her home. Damage was 15 000 CFA. The girl wanted 25, but I did not argued much, so it may have been too expensive.

As indicated in my previous message, I was also looking for a massage place. I went first to a small massage place close to the hotel and had a good massage, but no cherry. The girl seemed quite angry at the end.

Disappointed with my first experience, I just decided to find another place and went to the "Jonquet". There is a massage / hairdresser / nail place on the main road that is ready to give you what you are looking for. The lady was not good looking but gave a very erotic massage. She asked for 20 000 and I gave only 15 000.

All in all, it was a good stay, but I am sure that Port-Novo could have offer other experiences, but I really had too much to do.

I was there roughly four years ago with a very good experience, drinks expensive though. What is your experience of this club and others in town? About clubs in Cotonou :

- "NewYork-NewYork" is still running and it's the famous club with girls. Some times you can get there and find like 20 girls on the dance-floor without any guy. Some times I like to go there with friends just for dance, it's also possible. And all the girls who recognize me are always very discreet and respectful. Just stay alone 1 min at the bar and girls are starting to come. Please, never take the first one, cause if she comes as fast it's because something's wrong in my opinion.

- "2001" is the club of Jonquet, and also with a lot of girls, but they don't come directly to you, they are a little bit more difficult to get. I mean, you need to talk more than 1min to get them. Good music as-well, sometimes I can go there even with my wife cause I know that girls are respectful. Actually, they are respectful and discreet cause I've always been like that with her. I prefer give more money and stay peace of mind when I go out with my wife.

- "C17" is a good one as-well to find girls. Into a good area. More difficult to find girls cause a lot are not at all WG.

- in all the others clubs for dance this is quiet the same things.

- "Foco-loca" is a strip tease club. But the girls don't know dance well and they are often drunk. A bit dirty, but you don't find Beninese, you find girls from Cote-the'Ivoire (be-careful)

About girls in other province :

- Kandi : I didn't find any place to dance. But I've asked to the guardian of the hotel cause thay always gets girls number. He calls, you wait, she comes. The problem, you don't choose.

- Djougou : exactly the same. No place to dance but each time the guardian help me.

- Parakou : you can find small clubs called VIP. Very cold, very dark, no body till 2am. I don't know more cause I couldn't spend so much time.

- Dassa : no club, but the receptionist of the Geko Hotel calls you in your room to ask if you need girls. When I said maybe, and when I get back from diner. 3 girls was waiting into the hall. (10 000 Fcfa for the girl. 1 000 for the receptionist)

- Abomey : there are club but I've never take girl there.

About prices :

- girls in street : 6000 for her and 2000 for a dirty room (once just 3000 for a BJ in the car)

- girls in club like NewYork or 2001, I always give at least 10 000, some times they want more but I've never given more than 20 000 (once I gave 30 000, it was at Niamey cause the girls scarves me)

- some of them I give 20 000 each time cause she invites me at home, gives me beers, cigarettes, massage, washing, multiple orgasm, washing, massage, cigarettes, beers during 2 hours or all the night. Very difficult to find that, but African girls are often like that (need number?). I could get that every time I've been very very friendly and some times I do not pay.
