Sao Paulo Reports

I am trying to figure out if bahamas club is still closed or not. Can someone confirm? If it is closed, I suppose the best next choice is Cafe Photo right?

Or as SG suggests - a taxi service.

Another cheaper alternative, shuttle to Rodoviario Tiete and Metro from there - provided your hotel is close to metro stop and you do not have much luggage. But you have to want for the shuttle at GRU. Takes 25 minutes to Tiete (without traffic). Certainly not the quickest way

Bahamas is closed for good and even sunk in the Bermuda Triangle.

Oscar Maroni, former owner of the Bahamas, has another club outside São Paulo. Never been to the new location. I don't know more than what is reported in the different national forums.

those prices are pretty much accurate - in general - in all MP in SP.

as somebody suggested take the taxi from the airport. Just outside the doors, at the kerb there is the counter of Guarucoop taxi service.
You state where you have to go and pay there, cash/credit card. They then point you at one fo their taxis waiting. very good service, no price surprise and the pre-paid price is quite accurate if compared to a meter running ride. Fact is that SP traffic sometime is weird and the meter runs also with times not only with distance. So the pre-paid option is a win-win.

Just too bad Marelobo, I'm not currently in São Paulo. I was supposed to stay there until late March but I received an offer to teach a new course in one university in my birth- and hometown, Montreal. So I went back there and I'll spend the whole month working on my next course. :(

But let's go back to your answer. São Paulo is not that expensive. I think it could even be less expensive than Rio when it comes to P4P. There's an array of brothels (privês) where you can have fun for less than 200R$ (for almost two hours). Habitually the price for an hour session in a prîvé is 80R$. You can pay less but the quality o the girls is also low.

For 80R$ you have garotas in the 6 up to the 8, 8.5 range. Sometimes you can find a 9 or 10. The garota can even give you her cell number and you can see her outside.

I do a lot of research befor going anywhere. I agree with you; Sao Paolo is way cheaper that Rio if you take your time. I've got together with at least 8 model types (At least 5'10" tall, 36-24-36+ of various cup sizes) that did not cost me more than 120 Reals for an hour of fun and more fun. Just go explore the many "Clinicas" in Sao Paolo if you get a chance. You will be extremely surprised with the quality GDP's that are out there. If you don't like what you see, go to the next one. There are well over 300+ Clinicas and Prives in Sao Paolo. They can't all be low quality. Just a few more weeks...
