I Agree. Robador / San Ramon, is lower end of any scale.

After an experience a short while ago, I must agree with those who recommend Damas/Top Damas (c. Sant Eusebi 68).

Having happened to Barcelona earlier this month for the first time, I was engouraged by the reports here and decided to go to Damas.

The lady receptionist spoke good English, the premises were clean and stylish, the girls ranged from 6 to 9 in looks and from about 20 to about 45 in age... to each his own I guess.
There were about 12 of them available at the moment I was there (afternoon on a weekday).

Prices were as previously stated here, 30 mins for 80 EUR and higher prices for longer times.

I must especially comment on the clean and tasteful rooms fitted with jacuzzi, and the discreetness - I knew there were other men in the premises but never saw them.

All in all, well worth the price and a very positive experience.

I checked out Club Riviera last week and wanted to offer my advice based on my weekend night experiences.

There is no reason not to get there early, 1900 would be good but definitely no later than 2000. All the same girls were there when I went early as when I went late, of course there were a lot fewer guys and a lot less smoke earlier and no line to wait for a room. Also contrary to what I've read here they made me pay whether I arrived at 8pm or at 11pm. I asked what the hours were that payment was required and the bloke claimed that the 12 € entry fee is required at all hours.

In any case, in order to get there from Barcelona, get yourself to either Sants or Pg de Gracia (at Arago) station and take the R2 train to Castelldefels. Once you get off the train (which was travelling west), you will be facing north. Proceed north to the street in front of the station and turn left (west). Walk about 2 blocks to Avinguda de la Pineda and turn left (south). Walk under the train tracks and proceed about 1.5km through a residential neighbourhood, you will pass about 3 traffic circles. You will eventually come upon a Petro Cat petrol station, at that point turn left (east) before the bridge (do not cross). Club Riviera will be approximately 250m ahead on the left.

You may want to get a taxi the first time, it costs 4 euro and you will get an idea of how far and in what direction the club is in. Getting a taxi back can be difficult because the taxi drivers often feel that the fare is not high enough for their trouble.

Once you're inside, trade your consumpcion ticket for a drink and start looking for girls. Expect to have any girl that you make eye contact with walk up and begin chatting with you. They all appear to quote 70 €, counter with 60 and she should accept. If she stands firm at 70, propose to pay 60 up front and a propina of 10 if the service is good. She should accept this and you'll probably even get the added bonus of the girl not messing you around so that she can get her last 10 euro.

Repeat until satisfied, or until the Viagra wears off. Plan to leave the club at about 2200 to catch the last train back to the city at 2238.

If you followed my directions, you got to the club quickly and cheaply, got in, got a girl or two, and got back to the city relatively safely all for under 170 euro.

I would try to negotiate it with the girl once you are in the bedroom, I am pretty sure she we'll ask (generally) for more money - but if you negotiate it with the giorl directely and not with the madame upfront, you might get a better price.

My first time in Barcelona and so I read the threads (many thanks to Barcelona mongers especially Enfer Mototal for the tips and prices) in the hope that I would be able to escape my 'guard' (not a lady, a very straight work colleague who accompanied me on a long Europe business trip). Three days here and I managed to get away and see a mate who has been living here for 5-6 years and is ex UAE (Dubai) where I normally monger (see the UAE forum). So we arrive at the Riviera and after having read the reports was not disappointed. The train from Barcelona to Casteldefells takes about 20 minutes.

There is a nightbus from Barcelona to Casteldefells, but I don't know where it stops. But you can find info on the web too (Google). There is a bus every hour.
