Prices were always higher before the Russians flooded the business years ago anyhow. The Israeli gals maybe dropped a bit, but I remember being told to find a "skena rusit" often enough when I offered too little in the course of negotiations. The bottom line is that there have always been certain Israeli commodities that are aligned to and negotiated in US Greenbacks. In the Old City I think it may be hard in fact to find an apartment for rent in any other currency, though that neighborhood is classically American anyway.
175 in the states is about right, but the advantage in Israel of course is the quality of the girl. As far as not speaking Hebrew, most people speak English and at least one other language, I remember paying both before and after I became fluent and surprisingly enough I wasn't ripped off by more than 10 or 15 percent. You have to go to Talpiyot to get to a rub and tug joint. This may be wrong by now, but catch the bus at the top of Ben Yehuda and follow the soldiers when you all get off. Generally, the war is not felt in day to day life in Tel Aviv (unlike the north from Haifa up, with hundreds of missiles falling down daily and complete stop of commercial and leisure activities), except for the influx of semi-refugees from the north, the large number of young men called for reserve duty, and the cancellation of events like the Depeche Mode concert or international soccer games. Otherwise, still one of the safest cities, crimewise, in the world, with great beaches, nightlife, and concentration of beautiful looking women (unfortunately, not selling their services). We all hope that this mess concludes soon and we can go back to enjoying the great summer.

I have been a member lurking in the shadows for quite some time now, and think maybe it's time to step forward and do my bit.

As has been said numerous times before, the mongering situation in Israel has deteriorated steadily over the past few years, and currently it's pretty grim.
The mainstay of previous times were the large number of eastern European women who found there way here and were willing to give excellent service for a relatively small sum of money, roughly $50.00 for a full hour of sucking and fucking.
