I would second sameer on this. MG road is not really the place to go, even is a little bit of "self-help" is the only workaround!

hi folks,

How do the rooms of the Windsor Manor, the Oberoi, Le Meridien, The Ashok and Royal Orchid compare? Do any of them have separate tub and showers? Granite bathrooms? Large Rooms? Nice grounds?

My experience is rooms at Windsor Manor(newer wing),Oberoi are better,I have not tried Le Meredien,but Ashoka used to be pits,but then the management changed,I cannot say after that.

Royal Orchid is good but not upmarket.

Try Leela or Taj Westend,both are upmarket,although taj residency is good business hotel.
