I just returned from New Delhi. I tried the escort service ads in Hindustantimes on two occassions. First got me a 19 yr old Bengali gal by the name of Megna. Cost was 5K for short time. Second was a "model" type by the name of Rekha, cost 10K for short time! The first was better than the second!
Had a private contact in South Delhi, she charged 10K for short time. Was O.K. but would not repeat! Tried to get me interested in her friends.
In all places the level of sanitation was almost at 1st world standards, ex. flush toliet, clean sheets, etc.
Tried the "beauty" parlour route, again from the newspapers! In both occassions, the parlour is inside a private apt. in South Delhi! The massage was followed by oral with protection. Paid about half what I paid for in the escort ads or about 3K for short time! Level of sanitation was much lower, nevertheless, it was an enjoyable experience!
Delhi is not as "dead" as many mongers make it out to be!

You are right Littlejackuk, Delhi is not at all a dead place but you have to be very careful while mongering around.

called this mp guy from hindustan times classifieds, called dixy, 9899536454, and he called me to haldirams on ring road at lajpat nagar. sent a guy to get me ... who claimed that he needs to pay some madam before he can let me in to the girls.

he showed me pics of two wonderfully cute gals on his cell phone and informed that i could choose one of those two in this apartment. took 3500 rupees from me and asked me to wait at a place pointing to a house on 1st floor and then went a distance claiming to meet some person before i can go up.

he walked some distance and then i could see him running like a cheetah!

i knew he has duped me, the dixy guy never picked up my call again, took an auto and got back home... geee... first time cheated :) and it was my first try in india and probably a 3rd try in this lifetime :p... am glad i am safe!

moral of the experience - never pay before f***ing the gal!

this was just to warn all you guys. if any of you takes pity on me and is willing to share some contacts, it will make my day. if not, then i accept my fate!

Similar thing happened to me the first time I called a number from the newspaper in Delhi. Spent an hour sitting in a south Indian restaurant in Defence Colony wondering, "Why isn't she coming back?" Bye bye money, sorry little johnnie.

I am happy to say I have have had some better experiences since then.

It would be great if you could share your tactics how you protect yourself against such idiots.

Also, if you know symptoms of someone trying to cheat you, sharing them would help the newbies like me.

Another resource I came across in Delhi is wowgirls [at] hotmail (you know what comes here).
