following on with the perils of the beach road and walking street theme.
beach road. here are 3 examples. one happened to me. the other 2 were friends.
1. walking along the beach road at around 3. 00 in the morning. a group of girls and lady boys approached. they joked, and at the same time, appeared to frisk me. as it was the end of the evening and, i had little money left, i ignored this and went back to my hotel. next morning, looking in the mirror, i realized my gold chain had gone.
2. around 1. 00 in the morning walking in the walking street. a lady boy persuaded me to go with her down a small side street and into a vacant construction site with the promise of a bj. inside the construction site i was forced to surrender the entire contents of my wallet.
3. it was my birthday and a friend called by my room with a present for me. a girl from the beach. he had paid her already. i wanted to give her something as well and left a few notes under the ash try. i went to the bathroom for about 1 minute. on my return she had gone. the notes under the ash tray remained. my wallet, in the back pocket of my jeans, gone.
for me now, if i need a short time, i always take a girl from a bar or night club where they are documented and, i never take them back to my house. i go to a hotel where guests are registered. i don't pay joiner fees but, i need to make sure that my guest leaves her id card with reception and, that she will not get it back again without my presence.
nine times out of ten you could be very lucky. you might find nine partners who provide you with a great time with very little expense. the tenth time could be different.
if you are picking up girls. watch out for drugs, like girls slipping a drug into your drink and cat fights.
if you are picking up lady boys. they might look sexy with very large breasts but, they can fight like a man. plus, their high heels, are a very effective weapon.
if you take them back to your house or condo remember, they could be casing your place for a future, uninvited, visit. especially, if they have been around a few times and, are known by your neighbors. the neighbors might not take any notice of them loading all your stuff on to a pick up and heading off up country.
the strays on the street could be stray for the following reasons:
1. they are hiv positive.
2. they are lazy.
3. run by pimps that are not just content with money. they want extras that can be obtained from the punters expense. be careful with **** scams.
pattaya has changed a lot over the years but, it is still a place where thais come from all over thailand to stay. tourists come from all over the world for holidays. some of the tourists never go home as they become ex-pats. the tourists come to spend money and the thais come to help the tourists spend money. as do some ex-pats. many of the girls that arrive, especially if you find them early, can be good loving partners. the ones that have been around a bit longer are more like business women. just make sure you pay them what they ask.
the current word on the immigration front is that they are clamping down on guest houses. if the owner doesn't register guests with immigration then the guest house owner and the guest are in big immigration trouble.
there is another reason to be careful going home at night. it's a new one for me. be careful what you have in your pockets. viagra, stuff like that for which you might not have a prescription. you could be a target for a police stop and search. possession of any kind of sex aids & drugs are major offences.
on the plus side. now it is mid term in thailand and universities and colleges are closed for a few months. lot of the students are in town to find ways to supplement their education costs. i have seen quite a few working in go-go bars. if you take one just make sure she is old enough.

Back in Pattaya soon for the weekend!
Coming to Pattaya for the weekend, have been away for a few years. Want to make sure the same daily protocol can still be put into place:
1. Daytime freelancers walking up the beach (emphasis on walking-the sedentary ones are usually lifers).
2. Massage shops up sidestreet from Walking Street and Beach RD. HJ upon request.
3. Fishbowl in Diamond Beach Hotel.
4. CATZ and other Go-Go's with whirlpool action, and girl on girl shows.
5. Lucifer freelancers after 10pm (or earlier).
6. Marine Disco after 2pm (when Go-Go girls are finished).
7. Tony's After hours and (another one I can't remember but trannies like to lurk in the darkness).
What am I missing? Any new spots? Got limited time so need to get my strategy down . . .
