Thinking going to Havana week of 7th Jan 2017 any recommendations for girl friendly place to stay near action?

As the taxis goes I always rent a car so I have no idea if they take it or not. P.S. You will always get a better rate if you have $100 bills the exchange rate on the st is at 96 and that's the minimum you should exchange at unlemm you are doing it at a cadeca and the. You only getting 87.

Apologies first of all for a really late report.

I arrived on the 7th (Dec) and didn't get to the casa and settled in until about 7:00 pm. Even after a few days in Playa del Carmen, it felt really humid and stinking hot to this northerner.

I decided to walk the Malecon from my casa in Vedado (Thanks for the tip Mondo!) toward old town just to scout out the lay of the land as it were.

I lost track of how many jinteras propositioned me in that walk but it must have been at least 30 including 2 who spoke very good English and weren't that easily put off. Now the first Newb mistake! Tired, hot and a bit footsore, I decided to just rest up the first night and come back to the buffet the next night: The weather went to sh*t the next day. For the next 5 days in Havana, every night that wasn't raining, the wind was driving the surf hard enough to spray over the sea wall sometimes right to the street. No ladies to be seen. On the other hand, I got in lots of time doing most of the touristy things I wanted to do around Havana.

After that, I went touring around for 8 days: Vinales, Trinidad, Cienfuegos and Guanabo before returning to Havana for one last night before flying home. I didn't really try that hard on the road trip in all honesty. Smaller places, non-independent casas and the language barrier but I had a lot of fun anyway doing the tourist thing.

In Guanabo, I was approached by one young cutie while checking my Email in the park. Small, dark and nicely built, after so long with no success, just talking to her had me struggling to hide a rager as she followed me back to the casa I'd rented for the night. Clearly, Nadia had a baby but she was in great shape. Sadly, in my excitement, I agreed to pay her 40 CUC in advance and her performance wasn't on par with her looks. After an okay but not great BBBJ, she covered me up and rode me to a fairly quick finish to round 1. I refused when she asked for 20 more for round 2 but we settled at 10. Making a worse mistake, I gave her that immediately instead of after the fact. After about 15 more minutes she claimed she was too hungry to continue and started dressing. Realizing how bad I'd screwed it up, I declined to argue the point and let her go. Oh well, lesson learned!

Sorry to the guys I was supposed to hook up with while I was there. It took me a few days to get a SIM card for my phone and an internet card. Before I could figure that process out, my phone was stolen and with it all of my WhatsApp and Email contacts. I was pretty unhappy for a couple of days!

All in all, it was still a worthwhile trip and I'm confident it will go better next time though I'm not yet sure when that will be.

Just saw it on our local news here in LOS Angeles, I believe they said two flights each week and yes direct from LAX to Havana, Cuba. I spent a few weeks in Havana back in August 2015 and glad I visited before the change which is happening now and will forever change the landscape of Cuba for a mongering destination.

Full of tourists, privileged Cubans (like visiting Cubans from US, or families of privileged officials). Filled to the brim with girls (mosty jinieteras). There are a bunch of these late night places . Ask a taxista. Ill give you one name Mio y Tuyo.

Made it to Havana last week for the first time, flying in from Montreal. I stayed for 4 nights (before hitting the beaches in Varadero). I speak intermediate Spanish, so I spoke mostly Spanish to locals throughout the trip.

I stayed at a casa in San Lazaro just outside Havana Vieja, and ended using the Hotel Deauville as my Wifi Hotspot. I accidentally found myself downstairs at the hotel's club on Wednesday night and found a 19 year old spinner, dark features but lighter skin. I was being propositioned by a taller blond when I spotted her, and since the brunette was more my type I ditched the blond. She wanted 70 CUC, and since I was drunk and not in the mood to negotiate I obliged.

I gave her address to my casa and she followed 5 minutes behind (to avoid being spotted by cops). She showered first then asked for cash up front. After reading posts here I told her no, but we went back and forth. Seeing as that she only had a towel on I capitulated and paid her up front (contrary to all the good advice here). Fortunately she wasn't interested in pulling a runner, so we had kissing, DATY, CBJ (unfortunately). She was tight all over, and so I got one pop in after about 20 minutes. Shortly thereafter she was eager to move on, which I was OK with since I was exhausted.

Following night we made it out to Miramar, it was like a wannabe Miami. Overrated in my opinion. I can't recall the name of the club (Habana "something" but first approach was by a hot voluptuous blonde who asked for 400 CUC! I couldn't believe it, I told her 70 CUC and not a penny more. Of course she high-tailed. I was so disappointed that I left the club after 1 beer. When my friend and I went to get a taxi I was approached by thin, darker girl. We agreed to 80 CUC since she had to come in the cab with me and come 15 minutes. At this point I didn't fuss and took her back. BBBJ, kissing, and fun 30 minutes. She wasn't as good looking as the first but a bit better service. Only bad news here is that I'd snuck her into the casa and got an earful from the Senora the next morning for bringing her in. Oops, no more taking Jinitera's back to the casa.

Two nights later I made it back to Deauville Disco and the selection was not nearly as good. Turns out I got lucky, Wednesday is Lady's night so all the treats come in free. That was the first night I had gone. This was now Friday. Having to pay, there weren't as many options. I found nothing I liked, so I went home empty-handed.

I was not in Cuba solely to monger, but Havana didn't disappoint. After hearing a lot of doomsday here, I was pleasantly surprised by the mongering scene. Probably isn't what it once was, but was better than I anticipated. It helped that there is a beautiful race of girls there, a bit different look than S. Americans. That alone leads my to believe I'll be back to take a deeper look into the local fruits.

I Just finished a short stay in Havana and the action is trickery but doable there. First thing, some Cubans like Smetican and others don't, you will quickly find this out after being quoted quadruple prices by some and local prices on everything from food to taxis from others. Best to just say your Canadian until you get the feel for a person. I don't know how you could be successful here without fluent Spanish if not willing to drop a ton of cash. My advice, rent an apartment outside of Havana vieja in Vededo.

Making sure that the owner does not have a way of seeing when or who leave / come back with. When you check in they will make you register and that any guests must do the same. In my experience the owner really doesn't care just needs some plausible deniability if they get raided by the cops. I struggle initially walking the Malecon and also calls 23 seeing some beautiful women but no one would talk to me, seems like the locals are nervous about talking to tourist because of the risk of being arrested. Finally I sat down at a local bar and had a conversation with another patron. He explained it to me that just about every girl in Havana is willing to spend the night with a foreigner you just have to be overt about it and not worrying about offending anyone and ask their price. The catch is that if the give you a number their a hardened pro, if they act flattered and say they are not into that. Offer to take them to dinner, good food is out of reach for most Cubans. Anyway had this work for me twice one 28 and one 18 both strong 8's, neither asked for money before or after though I made sure their cab fare was paid for in terms of New York prices, voluntarily because even the best paid Cubans make only around 25 $ mo. If You had more time there I would imagine you could probably get into 10's pretty easily using this method even with only decent Spanish.

Let me remind you Lost111 that the average Cuban salary is 20 CUC and many people earn even less.

So you are giving a street girl more than 3 months salary for 20 mn sex! Would you do it in your home country?

And then you still pay upfront even though you know you shouldn't do it.

Sure give the girls more power so they can laugh at tourists stupidity even more.

BTW I never had a CBJ in Cuba never.

There will still be some who think it s a bargain.

I m glad I enjoyed this country a lot 10 years ago when it was possible to get a girl all night almost for free.

I came back 2 years ago and was still able to get gorgeous mulatas for 20 CUC all night in another city (I won't tell the name of the city here that s for sure).
