The answer is, her "need" is bullshit (new phone, partying, clothes, etc). And her family won't give money for it.

Also, most guys give $ expecting her to be an exclusive girlfriend. If you give with the understanding that she's also asking other guys, fine. Also, if you give, she's very likely using your $ to party with other guys. Some pinoy is fucking her with condoms that you paid for. Again, if you're OK with it, it's your call.

Bottom line is, a guy shouldn't just give without getting something in return, whether its sex or some exclusive arrangement that leads to marriage. If you give and not take, you deserve to be had. Why not give to recognized charities instead that would ensure your $ truly goes to something life saving?

I guess I did not make myself clear in my post that you quoted, sorry for that.

I have never given money when they asked. I gave as bday present out of the goodness of my heart and BECAUSE they ran errands and did things for me there, never for nothing.

These women pay to talk to me in chat cafes. They educate me about the Phil and they find things out for me there. That plus their companionship is worth it to me to show a little generosity on their bdays.

People who know me know I am no soft touch, far from it. But I recognize these women on DIA are in a SH*T country with Cr*p opportunities. I would probably do the same thing in their situation, try to find a way out by marriage or similar. I might even ask for money.

That being said, I have noticed that many PRETEND to be very poor when they actually have far more resources then they admit to.

But you are right about one thing, many Filipinas are looking for an easy way out with no effort on their part. They expect to be swept off their feet by a foreigner on a white horse and they offer little in return. Thats probably 90% of them want something for nothing. After last weeks excesses in Manila, the first one I had send me some messages about how she has "problems: and would I call her so she could explain.

The last one was having a housing problem and could I loan her P6000 so that she could get her own place to live.

In both cases the ladies at least had the good grace and style to only ask after we had had sex and after they were safely home and back in the comfort of textworld. But I'm afraid that many guys are used to being doormats for women in the West and they find it hard to relate to women without opening their wallets before getting any favors from her. Anyone sending money to a woman who they've only met in cyberspace is a sucker. While it's true that these morons can do what they please with their money, their actions fuck things up for others using online sites. The news that free money is being given out online soon brings a bunch of other leeches to the dating site.
