That's a good list if you live in Jakarta and are not much older than 30 years old.

For a 50 year old, one week visitor, that list is garbage.

I think you should ask the driver beforehand if he knows what you're up to. Otherwise he can pull your leg in that long street. By heart I can recall 5 places in there that will serve our needs.
So Overhead1, please inform us if you venture there.

last week i was in a mood for a "normal" massage w/o any hanky-panky and since i had some business to fulfil at sultan hotel, i decided to take a brake at life spa, located at the lower ground.

arrived there, asked for massage and got a therapist namend elly, 25 yrs.
room was nice, soft music and essential oil fragrance in the air. no shower or bathtub. had a relaxing massage, guess i also felt asleep. towards the endshe asked me if i wanted to have a massage also on my best part. i was not eager for it, but what the hell, i thought, at worst it might be good for the blood circulation ;-) . so i said yes and now comes the part that made me really laugh loudly, even if it's tragic, coz it means there are some - sorry for the crude expression - idiots out there that pay these sums. she asked two millions for a handjob!!!!!

since i can manage to speak bahasa quite well, i asked if she was just shooting high in the hope to find some brain amputated being ready to pay that amount for a hj or what ??? i was shocked by the answer when she told me that she got 2jt already 4 times and most of the guests are able to "negotiate down" to sums between 1-1,5 milions (!?!?!?!?!).

finally after an excellent massage, a good laugh, followed by angryness, i tipped the lady for the massage and left.

i presume that these "guests" are none of the isg members (hopefully)...

i felt i had to share this in order to remind everybody who rtff not to overpay, coz spoiling the market will surely not contribute to our favourite spare time occupation.

Keeping on the hotel massage theme... I had a massage at the Hotel Maharadja a few years ago. This is far from a 5 star hotel, in fact it's one of the cheaper hotels. At the end of the massage, the girl asked me if I wanted a hand job. I told her sure, go ahead. When all was finished, I gave her 150k tip. I thought I was actually being fairly generous. She then threw a fit saying she wanted at least 500k. I flat out refused and told her if she wanted that kind of money, she needed to negotiate that up front because I would have said no. She would not shut up, so I pushed her out the door. On the way out she told me to never ask for her again to be the one to give me a massage. No problem, I won't.

I've been through the list on previous trips and some works, some dont. Kings Cross is an interesting pick up place but long way out.
