What is artesian water and how do you use it illegally?
Thanks.
When you quote you are not supposed to remove the Quote markers. Ha ha.
Artesian water is water pumped from underground. Used widely in Thailand because rainfall is not throughout the year, and people may need more than what they can catch on the roof. There is no municipal water supply to many farms in Thailand. So electric pump (given people have power for the pump) is attached to bore pipe going down deep enough till hits the water table. I guess water is gradually replaced by some natural seepage, but in heavily populated areas, the water might not be replaced completely.
Bangkok is built on low level unstable land, subject to major flooding. It was discovered that Bangkok was gradually sinking centimetre or so per year. The cause is the extraction of underground water according to the experts. So in Bangkok it is not legal to pump underground water. Yet many major soapies using large amounts of water, did not want to pay for the municipal piped water (too expensive for them or just greed). They thought they could get away with it. It had been done for so many years. Prayut and Co. decided to stop it. Geologists would know more about it. I just use it. I don't actually drink artesian water but is probably O.K.
Yet several large major Soapies were caught with the evidence of underground water usage, and closed down. The Lord! For example, also Annies, and a few others. I heard about the raid on Annies before they shut down, but authorities were probably not even looking for illegal girls. Annies was not known for extra young girls I think. ha ha.
