Fine as far as it goes. But some health sites recommend against using alcohol-based mouthwash beforehand on the basis that it makes the skin slightly inflamed and therefore more susceptible. Personally I often use it afterwards. Having exceedingly clean teeth generally and sharing a glass of whatever beforehand usually works fine. One of the few luxuries i carry even in carry-on -only luggage is an electric toothbrush.

After last years painful and worrying experience. Even without the worry of HIV. Things have changed over the last ten years due to the global abuse of antibiotics.
