Plus, from what I've seen the girls are a bit of a disappointment. Colombia might be a better destination.

If you want it cheap and easy, there are many casas. They are cheap, they are easy and they eliminate the risk of getting drugged and robbed.

Navigating the trip to Medellin will be difficult. You'll need a sextant and a compass, and if it's cloudy, you're screwed. Leave the navigation to a taxi driver who already knows the way.

After you get through immigration and customs, walk past anyone who approaches you and says "taxi", they aren't taxis and are the most expensive option. You can identify a taxi by answering 2 questions:

1. Is it outside the terminal? Taxis aren't allowed inside the terminal.

2. Is it a car which has the word "Taxi" prominently displayed?

The current rate for a white taxi from the airport has been reported several times in response to your post. Approach the driver at the front of the line and ask "cuanto cuesta?" If he gives a response within the range you're willing to pay, get in, otherwise go down the line until you find one charging the correct price.

You want to monger cheap and easy but have not done any research to make that happen. Example is the taxi or bus from the airport to town. That is talked about repeatedly about every 3 weeks.

Best option for you would be probably be the casas. Check out the map for a bunch of them. You walk in and have a seat. A dozen or so women quickly parade through, say their name, and then disappear.
