Words of Wisdom, Wordsofwisdom. Welcome to the forum. I look forward to your next field report. I would only add that plenty of great girls can still be had in LOS. I find them all the time, but yeah they all want their own I-phone 5.

Speaking of working girls with their I Phones, I remember a conversation I had a year or so ago with Wendella. We disagreed with the appropriateness of posting pictures of working girls on the ISG and other sights. I believed and still do, that is ok to post a working girl's picture without masking her face as long as the girl has not asked me not post her pictures. But I admit there is a grey area here because I also will not post pictures of girls that are regulars of mine and that I plan to see again and I will not post pictures of a girl and give her bar address. I will recommend a bar I like, but not specific girls in that bar. I don't feel right about sending a lot of guys I can't vouch for straight to girl that I like. Go there find your own.

Now back to the issue of posting pictures: during our discussions, Wendella asked me if I would like it if the tables were turned and a girl posted my picture on the internet. Well, I don't think my picture has ever been posted, but a growing trend is the number girls that like to take pictures with their I Phone Samsungs. I was with one of my regular BKK Go Go friends in October. We were lying in bed; she receives a call from one of her friends. She turns the camera on and answers the call. After a while she hands the phone to me and I am cam talking to her friend who is another Go Go girl. After our little conversation is over and I say goodbye, I give the phone back to my sweetie and she stretches the phone out at arm's length and snaps a couple of close up pictures of us. I have a stupid grin on my face and the lens slightly fisheye distorts our faces which take up the entire frame of the shot. It is not the most flattering picture I have ever had taken, but what the hell. I have shot hundreds of shots of her in all kinds of positions over the last few years. Anyway, she likes our photo together so just I smile. I am sure she is going to show it to all her friends. It ain't no big deal.

Someday I predict working girls will have their own sex internet forum where they can discuss prices and customers. I can see it now LOL; working girls rating customers and posting their pictures. This guy was dirty and had bad breath. Next time I see him I will tell him I am on mens. This guy made me cum 2 times. I can't wait till he comes back to my bar. In the old days I used to stay at some of the really rough places where it helped if you had a screwdriver in your backpack to fix the wiring and your own stopper for the sink. Now that I am slightly better off, I like to stay at a more fit for humans place. Tried California 2 before but new location can be noisy, walk of shame through the bar that has been already mentioned in the forum and rooms with no window etc. Bourganville does not allow company. Used to stay at the Dolphin (can't remember what it is called in Khmer) but that went downhill.

Took a look around both this forum and at Canby Publications. Is Lux still GF? WHat about Golden House on the corner of street 136 and 5? When that was being built, it was supposed to be an apartment building. Are there any apartments for short rent (a few days) in the area or between River and Circee that are GF?

End result was, the best place and value for money I found was the Blue Tongue cafe hotel, next to Walkabout on street 174, just off street 51. The rooms are great, and very importantly very quiet for a good sleep. Last and not least, you can negociate prices down rignt now. 25 USD instead of 30 and 33 instead of 42, depending on your requirements. Beats any riverfront place in my opinion.

Nice people, lots of expats, great food reasonable priced. But the guesthouse is a different story. Was Ok in 2006 but after the renovation of the rooms they forgot to replace the aircons. Very noisy and hardly working. So that is a no no for me to stay overnight at that place. Sad, as the location is great.

That looks very crampy if they also fitted a bathroom in there! I once was on the edge of booking as it looked all very good, but when I saw the room size. Although I only need a room for sleeping and pleasures, I need some space.

Regarding hotel recommendations. I have not had the chance to stay yet, but I have a friend who highly recommends The Paragon, near the River Walk. He said its within walking distance of Sharkey's Bar. Heresay of course, but I will give it a try in February.

Location is perfect and the Aussie bar downstairs is chilled with great staff. Street 104 bars outside your door, Green Vespa for great food around the corner and the riverside a two minute walk.

Good location; it's on the riverwalk; OK prices; somewhat old.

Sharkeys is about a kilometer away. $1.50 fare by tuk-tuk.

It seems there's upward pricing pressures.

At Le Crycee, the girls are asking for $25 short time (plus $3 lady drink, $5 barfine and short time hotel fee). Most likely, many girls (except a few) will accept $20, especially if it's late or if you are a regular. Not sure if any will go for $15 now (maybe the few butt ugly ones).

At Martinis, the top ones at the bar during prime time are asking for $30 short time. And they're getting it.
