From past couple of days I've been on MR looking for birds. When we get to finalizing the deed, they ask to book hotel and then continue to ask for key pic, room pic, video call confirmation once inside hotel. I find that very weird and sketchy. I can understand hotel name and current location. But I feel, giving key pic and room pic is a red flag as after that they can start extorting money in terms of cab fees, advance, etc as they know we have already paid for hotel now.

Is this really the process here in Pune or am I being very paranoid? I did monger in Nagpur but this is the first time I'm experiencing this kind of scam?

It happened with me once. I booked a 3 hour brevistay and reserved the room. Did pay at hotel. When I reached the hotel (yet to check-in and pay) I called the bird and she started asking all these details. I called it quits and cancelled. Now another one is asking for same.

Help and advice needed on what sort of arrangement is safe and what is a straightforward / leading to a scam.

Thank you.[/QUOTE]Its a scam. Stay away. Never reveal your room details upfront. It will typically be bait and switch or trying to extort money from you. Genuine ones will always do VC, agree to meet in lobby.

A new spa has opened up near Bhumkar Chowk. The building name is two words. First word is DDLJ'S kajol's character name and second word is a place where legal proceedings happen.
