Re Thermae, - I had never thought about it, but yes, upon reflection it seems that the right side of the place tends to be occupied by older, less attractive women (but I had a great experience from the right side, she was all the way up against the wall, but snuck out to sidle up to me.).

Often a new bar will start out weak in terms of line up and vibe and then improve over time. I think I posted the first report on Geisha Bar here a few months back and your more recent impressions seem to be the same as mine then. Same with Kazy Kozy on Soi Cowboy. I posted the first report on that bar when it opened, too, and thought it was just "meh". I don't believe I have seen a subsequent report on the place that expressed a dramatic improvement over that. Maybe I missed it.

Could be we are tapping out on the number of better than average girls that can play musical chairs from one go-go bar to another to improve upon their line ups. But I suspect that is again something that moves in cycles and will turn around.
