Can't remember the name. But there are many sports bar in soi 11 and 13. From football, I mean European football. Not a huge fan or follower, but I know some players.
Not exactly on Soi 11 but right around the corner from Soi 11 on Sukhumvit Road is The Game sports bar and restaurant. At the bottom of the steps from BTS Nana, Exit 3 (I think). They are bound to have any European football game on one if their many big flatscreens or projector systems all around the place, including out on their balconies for smokers.
Slang like "poontang" never used also where I come from.
Come on now. They don't listen to rock and roll where you come from? I thought everyone who is a fan of rock music had heard this Ted Nugent classic. Wang Dang sweet poontang! I know they play it in Bangkok as I've heard it often at Sexy Nights bar in Nana.
Many of us have always been irked that many places play music the gals like and not music the patrons like.
I was sitting in a Pattaya bar yesterday and something happened to make me think of this post. My girl and I were controlling the iPad and playing music from this decade. There was a grumpy old man in his 60's who demanded that he have his music played or he would leave and take his business elsewhere. My hand was quickly pushed back down by my girl as I was waving goodbye to him. My girl says let him have his way there are no customers here now and the other girls need to make money. The old man starts playing Elvis and The Beatles and other old songs from that era. My girl commented that she didn't even think her grandparents were born when these songs came out, which is likely true.
Whenever I told my girl enough is enough I was taking the iPad back she would give me a free BJ or HJ to keep me preoccupied. So instead of being upset at the old man I was appreciative that his selfish actions helped me get some free action. Thanks old dude!

And I think they close at 2 AM so it's practically impossible to see the games that are played in the evening in Europe. Some bars on soi 4 are showing them but the loud Rock music is very annoying there.
The only place that I've seen showing them consistently is an establishment (Hotel or bar or restaurant I don't remember what it is) on Sukhumvit at the corner of soi 15 (I think) , but there's no entertainment there, and it was always surrounded by the African guys.

Kiwi's

I recall seeing an Aussie bar perhaps called something similar on Soi 11 not to far from Hilary Bar.
My girl and I were controlling the iPad and playing music from this decade.
There were a lot of good ones this decade, but there are also lots of songs this decade that were absolute crap. I would never limit myself to any one decade. I like lots of songs from all decades and almost all types of music. In Thailand, my favorite in the bars is when they play that goofy Isaan dance music. There's nothing wrong with them playing the Beatles then playing Pitbull. But I will admit that many times I walk into a bar then immediately walk out if they are playing loud rap "music". Life is too short to be listening to shit like Big Sean.
Many of us have always been irked that many places play music the gals like and not music the patrons like. Cactus when John was running it was really great. Some great tunes ranging from classic rock, to alt-new wave, to blues, to alt-country; it was great. When I first came most Cowboy bars played at least some rock. GoGos used to be a great place to drink with all your buddies. Not to expensive and then you could grab a gal when you were ready to shag. Midnight was unreal before the Arab bought it (twas his first bar). 100 Baht drinks and lady drinks, 500 Baht BF included use of ST room upstairs, and gals happy with 1 k. Used to sit in the back booth for hours on end, pop upstairs for a romp, then back downstairs to hang out with friends. Good playlist as well when Aussie Mark was running the place.
Some place were playing tuff that the DJ liked but the girls could not dance to it.
5 star was once playing the car alarm disco music (I like that phrase I am borrowing from another poster) far too loud. Was horrible. I asked the girl and she said she likes it. Ha ha. However was definitely driving away the customers. Not they are having more moderate music. It is not rock naturally but more modern stuff that is danceable and not so bad as it used to be. Some decent songs. It did not grab my attention, so means not too horrible overall. Perhaps a compromise to what girls and customers can relate to.
Shark also has compromise music.
If the music is too ancient like early 70's that may well drive away all the young customers, so they have to make sensible compromises. Sheba when it was alive had an excellent DJ in my opinion where Suzie Wong and Crazy House DJs were not that good for my taste. Shark is okay For me. Mostly moderately modern but not too stupid.
In 1991 two Aussies were running a bar called "Midnight Upstairs". That was my first ever bar a buddy took me to. Downstairs was a different bar, not gogo style I think.

I hate to disagree.
If you look good and are a smooth talker, there's a higher chance of going for free than for 1/4 of her normal rate.
But I can get 75% sticker price all day long.
Free is a whole different beast.
I'm sure I cood get free all day long from the low end.
But I don't want that shit even if you paid me, my dick would be inoperable.

In LK Metro they play rap crap but that's because the wannabe Farang muscle heads at some of the LK Metro gogo bars want to pretend they're Childish Gambino or Post Malone.
Can't stand rap crap.

The cute mute.
Watching this video, with the unamusing and inane on-screen comments, I notice a girl at approx 13:00 signing. Wondered if she was the mute girl referred to.

Has very fast hand motions like she is agitated.
Looks like a white girl, natural looking blond hair.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_pPkYKiTok
For me, no. I would probably describe the one in the video at 13:00 as somewhat skinny and a bit lanky. The one I was talking about was more of the normal weight and body type of the girl caught yawning at around 16:45. And she had a prettier face than either of them. Although the back lighting at 13:00 puts her face in darkness too much to be more certain about that girl's face.
Btw, the one the running video commentator seems to like the most and a couple of others he zeros in on to admire are definite ladyboys.
