The free bridge being closed is just one more reason to go to Juarez, get the deed taken care of, and then go straight back to the bridge and that's it. Juarez is no longer a place for sightseeing. If it wasn't for our hobby, I would never go over there at all.
Shop or eat at the famous City Market of Juarez, Mexico and you will probably be entertained and ingrigued. Just walk south on Avenida Juarez until you come to Avenida 16 de Septiembre and turn left (east). In just a few blocks you will come to Mercado Juarez on the north side of 16 de Septiembre.
That statement comes from:
http://www.juarez-mexico.com/HTML/Markets/CityMarket/01-CityMarket.htm
I'm curious. Do American tourists still visit the City Market? Has the tourist market dried up in Juarez? Only mongers going to Juarez? I'm sure the tourist market is down, but is it completely gone?
and now the two factions of police are fighting between the federal police and the municipal police. The federal police have already tried to kill the police chief of juarez, julian leyzaola. WTF!
While I'm not defending the feds for firing on his armored vehicle when he blew through a security checkpoint set up on the perimeter of a prison riot, not even Leyzaola himself is claiming the feds tried to kill him.
not even Leyzaola himself is claiming the feds tried to kill him.
Well, he said, that the feds knew, quite well, that they were very familiar with his vehicle and those that accompany him. I can't remember exactly where I read that but it is published.
While I'm not defending the feds for firing on his armored vehicle when he blew through a security checkpoint set up on the perimeter of a prison riot, not even Leyzaola himself is claiming the feds tried to kill him.
It would be too risky for Leyzaola to say that the Feds tried to kill him. He knows better. But he went immediately to Mexico city to visit president Calderon to express his discontent towards the unpredictable policias federales. He has openly said that he wants the Feds to leave so his municipal police dept. Can police juarez on their own and everyone knows that leyzaola and the head of the policia federales do not like each other.
It was reported that the municipal police commander of downtown juarez was killed Saturday morning. Juarez is still a crazy city to visit. They have already tried to kill Leyzaola twice. The federales knew what Leyzaola's SUV looked like and knew that it was his convoy. The federales also killed one of the mayor's body guards and recently murdered three teenagers next to the consulate. One of the teens was the son of a politician, I believe. The latter was claimed to have been by mistake. There is a lot of foul play happening in juarez right now. Too crazy!

He was 32 years old, and named commander of the downtown district on June 29th. He was assassinated about 5 weeks, after being named to this new position. He was trying to clean up the drug activity downtown, and I guess somebody didn't like that. They say he had been the target of several assassination attempts. They recovered 420 bullet casings at the scene of this assassination.
I'm glad I wasn't over there mongering at the time. That's a lot of bullets flying around.
I'm betting some of his fellow officers assisted the cartels in murdering this guy.
They recovered 420 bullet casings at the scene of this assassination.
420 bullets, and nobody was arrested. That's great police work. People in El Paso said they could hear all the gunfire. All the cops riding around over there, and these fuckers got away. WTF!!!
The Juarez cops are good at shaking down mongers for money, but they ain't worth a fuck, for policing the city.

Shortage of hot women. Corrupt police. Corrupt soldiers. No businesses. Poor people of juarez. Poor mongers.
Any of you guys know of any places around the central market (next to Cathedral). Not Cleos, scumy. Want to walk from bridge to market and just close to there.
Let me know.
I saw a skinny 18 yo named camilla hot body very ugly face, has one kid but minimal damage, for those who hate Soraya just get in and get out pay the minimal 300 pesos for half an hour and get out
I will NOT pay for a "Butterface." This defeats the purpose of going over to Juarez in the first place. Do your homework. Plenty of other places with nice chicas. Luxxor was once a great place to find beautiful girls. Not now. Don't believe me? Go check it out for yourself. Besides, I understand that they need to keep up with their "cuotas" real fast or they are going to get hit. This place is not the place to be at when someone makes an example of them.
