My beautiful Envigado finally hit by the ongoing turf war which started a year ago when the head of "La Oficina" in Envigado was arrested. I lived in Envigado for 5 years. I'ts consider by locals as the best living in Medellin, but you would never think this sort of thing is going on behind the scenes. Drug traffickers here do very specifically targetting when they go after each other in order to avoid civilian cassualties. But with that many killed and injured all at once, well, it breaks from the norm.

I lost a dear friend here last here, a gorgeous women, who made a grave mistake. After the Envigado arrest they killed all the drug dealers here in La Mayorista, 5, one of them was my "cuties" boyfriend.
