Just in case any of you senior members will be in the US, drop me a line. I have been frequenting some great massage parlors in L.A. and Dallas that have great service with comparable perks to anmas in Korea. The best part, though, is that they're cheaper than that, since there's no foreigner fee.

I am going to ask for a little indulgence with this post. I have spent a few hours reviewing the information here, and find I have more questions.

First, let me say this is my first trip to Korea that I actually was able to leave the airport, so I am a "Korea" virgin. It is rare that I am a virgin of any kind these days!
I have to stay in Incheon, but am trying to find where one might find some entertainment in the surrounding areas.

I don't think I mind going into town, but don't want to waste a lot of time and money.

I get the "hill" is a place to acquire some female talent, but am still confused as to what type of clubs, etc I am likely to encounter. I am accustomed to the clubs in So. Amer, Hong Kong, China, to name a few.

Are these clubs like Help in Rio or the lady bars in Bangkok? Is this a take-out situation? It sounds like the Hyatt may have some more traditional professional ladies working the bars, but I don't know how they might feel about going out to Incheon for an evening.
I guess the most important would be to ask indulgence for directions to these places of fun. If someone has the link to a map posted or one with detailed directions I would be grateful. I think I will be traveling by train/subway/ taxi.

I've heard rumor of (and maybe even read reports about) an area not so far from the airport and in some small district of Incheon which is pretty much a RLD of sorts. If you can find this, you'll be set. I've also heard that there are a lot of officetel setups (basically apartment-based incall) in Incheon.

I'd suggest you avoid the hill as there's little quality there. Also, the clubs in the Itaewon area are typically hit or miss. Some girls may put out, while others may be there to rack up the house bill on drinks and such (like juicy girls).

If you can learn how to read the words "anma" or "massage" in Korean, you'll be fine. Also, look out for places with double barbershop poles spinning outside. These places are pretty basic rub and tug joints.

I was in Korea for few days. While there, I was tormented to go out and sample the RLD at least once. I have never been to Cheonho, so I thought I would try it.

I got off of the Cheonho station, but I didn't take good notes of the direction given in ISG. I got off at exit 7 instead of 3. Simply said, I walked around for half hour until I finally told myself that I had enough, went inside a cab and asked to be driven to the red light district here. The driver had to drive less than 5 minutes and get the easy 3000+ W cab fare.

Coming out of metro station, passing Hyundai department store on left and Emart on right, we took a right turn on first or second street. As the road was curving to the right, he told me to get out, walk across the street, and walk into a barely noticeable side alley. I could see from the entrance some of the small reddish pink houses on the left, so I knew I was at the right place. Unfortunately, even at 8 pm, there were not many places open. He's right about the clubs; it goes without saying that it's pretty hit or miss wince we're talking about the freebie scene. The potential exception neing JJ's at the Hyatt where, if you've got the eye, you can readily pcik out the pro and semi-pros in the crowd.

There are juicy bars in the 'Won, but these days those are the white man's room salons on Itaewon High Street, e. G. Ginger Bar, where you will drop a small fortune on drinks and may or may not get lucky, if you consider having to shell out another few hundred thousand won for the merchandise lucky. The plus side is that hey are relatively posh, and the girls are generally of pretty high quality.

The bars on the Hill proper are another matter. These are mostly small, and generally pretty down market in terms of ambiance, affairs with anywhere from 1 to 5 SPs in attendance; generally (but not always) no mamasan; and you can just take a quick look and walk or stay if someone strikes your fancy; if you stay they'll pull the curtain over your booth or lock the place down, if it's just one or two, or you can retire to one of the local "motels" (blech) or nearby love hotels (the D'Oro is your best bet, but can fill up fast as many business travellers on a budget use it too, or your own hotel.compared to the High Street room salons, all of the places on the Hill are sure things, and all the girls have some English facility. But some of these places are real barracuda pools. VIP and Rosy's come to mind. But you can avoid the drinky game even there simply by making your purposes known and just fixing a price from the start. Generally, as LIROK observes, real quality on the Hill is few and far between, but there are exceptions. Again, refer to previous posts. And there are candidates that you could take to dinner at a good restaurant and back to your hotel without embarrassment on any score. Looks or deportment.

As it hasn't been much mentioned before, I note that Young-eun, the young mama-san at Ye Lotus, seems to specialize in sourcing GFE type newcomers, for whom her asking price is 150k/hr for a 2 hour minimum (probably negotiable).

Another factor to consider is that, as a foreigner on your own without any previous experience of the city, you're likely to find the Itaewon neighborhood. Which is expat central, camp followers included, a lot more comfortable; and there are numerous bars, clubs and restaurants in which to hang either pre or post-prandial, or even to take a "date" to before bedding her (which seems like your reference to "the evening" is something you might be interested in).

On a pure looks scale, the overall quality in the average Anma is, as LIROK says, generally higher, but usually the girls don't have any English, many Anma don't take foreigners, and these places aren't easy to find if you don't know your way around. Again, the relevant info is in the previous threads.

I will be visiting Seoul next week for only a few days on a business trip and what with work-related dinners and drinks and so on there will be little chance to get out on my own. Can suggest a reliable reputable in-call service or solo operator who could visit my hotel in Seoul CBD?

I was in Seoul last Friday staying at the intercontenial Hotel no action so got in a taxi went to JJs at the Hyatt. So, you take the seoul subway to Nambu Bus Terminal and exit the station at Exit 6. If you took a cab there, find exit 6 (it is stairwell leading down) in front of a convenience store. Can you help me out with directions or contact numbers? I'm assuming you have to call and make an appointment first.
