Can anyone plese confirm the opening time for disco and pubs in BKK this Christmas time. Are they open until 06.00am?

To visitors in their home country there couldn't be more hospitable people. Iraq is the obvious exception, but we won't discuss that here.

However, have you been around Sukhumvit Soi 3 lately?

I've also been in Bahrain on a Thursday night when they come over the causeway from Saudi heading for the bars. Not a good place to be, especially when they kick you out of your hotel to give to the Saudis who pay three times as much.

Without wishing to state the obvious, when it comes to different nationalities, we're not talking about each country's finest exports. The chavs and geezers that you see from England (youngish, football shirts, gelled-down hair and tattoos on their forearms) are a certain type of Englishman, but by no means totally representative. Ditto the shaven-headed, built-like-brick-sh!thouses Russians and the cheap charlie Arabs.

The drunken, happy-go-lucky Irish though, that's pretty much universal. I speak as an Irishman.

What can I say... 3 days without emptying my sac, it's getting heavy. The wound heals nicely but I prefer to wait until it is 100% back before starting any action.

Big fire in the Santika nightclub in Ekkamai. Sadly 55 people dead. I sincerely ope there are no forumers or their friends/family involved.

When I first saw the news report, I was thinking it would be NEP. Out of three trips to LOS and many many days in BKK I have only step foot into NEP twice. It is a potential death trap if a major fire happened.

Some 4 year ago I met a real cute and slim gem at Beergarden. Oiy was sweet 19, very kind and funny. Used to see her once on all my visits but I lost her mobile. Did anyone met her? I was astonished to discover that she became a movie star. Any information, hopefully her mobilenumber will be most welcomed.
