I had decided to come to the far side of the earth, OK only three hours from Melbourne to New Zealand, once again l had gone to the trouble of reading up on the forum, I can never emphasize the importance of doing your homework here. Hi Juniour - I may be corrected on this (plus I'm not a Kiwi), but it may be a Polynesian thing. I once had Polynesian neighbours in a tropical part of Oz. I eventually found a seat and I got talking to this Thai woman that worked there, in my attempted conversation with her, because at times the music was just too loud to hold a decent conversation, so much for just having some light background music. I walk in and there is a giant television screen that is showing some sport and sorry to our American friends here, as you know there are only three sports that matter here in New Zealand, rugby, rugby and football (or Soccer to you).

Yes, I can’t say I have not enjoyed myself here, Auckland does have some great establishments, worth a visit. I saw many tour groups from Argentina, Chile and China, to describe it in one word I would call it “sophisticated”. This is never going to be the next Thailand or Philippines but fortunately or I should say it is one place that is as far from SE Asia, as is the UK about 12 hours

While I do not agree with all of what you say (based on my experiences) you have told it like it is and I cannot in any way fault you for that. I believe that yours will be the "definitive guide" to Auckland for the forseeable future.

Auckland is well served by at least seven very well appointed establishments, most very handy to the city and easy to find.

They are (in alphabetical order): - Emilys, Femme Fatale, Floras, Monicas, Pelican Club, Penthouse, all in the city and Mustangs on the North Shore. Some are very elegant and ornate, while others, although less elaborate, are still clean, comfortable and well appointed. All these places have a similar price structure and provide excellent value for money. Any comparison between one club and another, or any attempt to rate them, is kind of pointless, because they all provide excellent facilities and are all well managed. The local laws ensure that. What does differ, and differs considerably, is the service they provide, and this depends largely on the lady involved not so much the club. The ladies in these Auckland clubs are so diverse in looks, size, shape, nationality and style it is hard to think of any other country with legal brothels that has such a wide variety. Most of the girls in these clubs are not full time providers. They work regular jobs, usually out of town, and commute to Auckland to work a few nights a week in the brothels. These girls are usually keen, enthusiastic and delightful to be with, although in many cases not as experienced as the full time ladies. The other thing to consider are the clients. Auckland is the biggest city in NZ and the business centre. It is also very cosmopolitan. It would be safe to say that most of the clients are visitors, a large number of which are probably regular visitors. The loyal regular clients get to know the schedules of the full time ladies and it is usually this regular bunch that set the tone of the club. And this tone can vary from day to day. Not all the lovely ladies are good providers. If you read the reviews on this board, you see contradictory comments about each club and often a particular girl. This is to be expected. Clients have a wide variety of tastes, and even when they have had excellent service from one lady, they sometimes go with another lady next time. In other words, the clients are not loyal, either to the club or to the girl, and that is the nature of the business. Just like Restaurants. What most new clients to a club don't appreciate enough is the role of the Manager or receptionist. They can be very helpful, when asked about a girl. Some managers are very helpful and can make some good recommendations. Don't be shy about asking questions. They have heard it all before. One of the reasons they don't introduce you to all the girls is because most clients can only remember one or two names at the most. I often thought it would be nice if the girls wore name tags (Ugh) or there was a photo board of those ladies available to help remember who's who. I have a few favorites who treat me, at my age, very well. I sometimes ask them for a recommendation as a back up, or for a different shift. It is amazing how much they know about other girls.

I think we in Auckland are blessed for what we have available at what I consider affordable rates. It's a bit hit and miss sometimes, but on the whole great fun.

Congratulations to Juniour who has given the most comprehensive report on the Auckland sex scene that I have ever read. It gives a new insight to Auckland through fresh eyes. So many thanks for your very detailed and informative reports.

Most of my early sex visits were at many of these “Massage” parlors but as their prices rose, I went elsewhere. Some places I found good, a few excellent and some have now closed and others opened. I them specialized in street walkers as I found I got more bangs for my buck and because I found I could indulge my preference for bare back sex. Only occasionally was I able to get it at massage parlors, but get it I did on some occasions.

I would advise anyone to AVOID any massage place in or around Fort St of the bottom of Queen St. Years ago I tried a couple of places there once and never went back again. Even Juniour didn’t have a good experience there.

I must disagree with Juniour on one point. The three sports in NZ are rugby, rugby and league. It used to be said that the three religions in NZ were rugby racing and beer. I have never had an interest in any of them.

When I used to go to the parlors, most places you paid a fee for the room and the fee for the girl was negotiated in the room. I guess since the Prostitution Reform Bill, they changed that to an all inclusive fee. What I do object to is the extra charge for using EFTPOS. I can understand that in a way for a credit card transaction but for EFTPOS I think it is unjustified. On some occasions when I was going to pay by EFTPOS, which means an instant transfer of the money from my account to theirs, I have refused to pay it and if they refused to remove the extra fee, have walked out.

My favorite parlor in Auckland used to be Emily’s. I liked the atmosphere there and the large lounge. The Penthouse wasn’t bad but Floras was just too small in the lounge/bar area. One of the ones in Union St had a very large reception area but it had no atmosphere.

Asian Dreams has been going for several years and I have had a few from there. If you are but further out like I am, they charge you a bit more, which I guess is fair enough. Also with the outcall service, you have the massage before the girl arrives, meaning more meaningful time with the girl if you can manage it. When I used their service, if you paid by cash, the driver didn’t come it but if it was by mobile EFTPOS he did. As I was a regular user, I wasn’t hassled about the time by the driver.

I don’t know about these naked girls in the apartments, as I have never seen it myself. Where abouts was this in Auckland and where did you view this from? Did you actually see this from the street?

You seem to have tried almost all the forms of sex except girls from the Truth and Massage 28/Massage 33 which were probably a bit far for you on foot.

I followed your recommendation and tried Beauty 28. There were only 2 girls available when I went (even though the owner said there were 5 working). I found that the quality of the girls was not as good as my usual (Salon 28 Ponsonby) and out of the 2 that were on I would estimate were 6-7. The owner offered one of the girls at 180 because he said she was only 19 but I took the other girl Anna for 160 who would have been no more than 25, no difference really.
