James, pardon my ignorance, but exactly what is a "happening bar?" There's a deriheru in Fukuoka that advertises a course with a companion that includes a happening bar, but I have not idea what that means. The course is 60 mintues for about ¥30,000, while their regular course for 60 minutes is only ¥8,000 (plus ¥5,000 more to the woman for FS).

Shinjyuku alone ahas aboujt 4-5 gaijin friendly Happening bars. There are over 50 in Tokyo bit only about 10 or so which are worth it.
