The area surrounding the Arch is one of the finest in downtown Paris. More like classy boutiques than mp:s.

The ladies around the Arch are few in number but high quality, found standing singly in corners during the evenings. Read earlier posts on the circular streets surrounding the Arch where they are, Wagram Tilsit Iena Kleber etc.

There are NO, repeat NO, sw around the arch any more. The area which is a major tourist area at all hours of the day, was cleaned up last year by the efficient Parisian police.

I visit Paris more than 10 times a year (I'm in Paris at the moment) and the people reporting on action in the area have obviously not been there in awhile (I was there last nite) and are unfortunately raising hopes (and masts :-)) and misleading others. Stop or risk being reported to Jackson.

As reported in previous posts, Paris veterans go to escort services (very pricey), pick-ups in bars, and swingersclubs.
The SW scene in Paris, relative to a major European capital, is pitiful.
Your best bet in Paris is to fly or take a train to Prague, Madrid, Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, etc. all sophisticated capitals for mongerers.

Is it possible that people are just confused about which arc to go to? There are several in Paris, including "the arc". While I was there, I did not see any in the area that I am assuming that is being discussed.

However, if you read my report from March 22, 2004, you will see that I found everything I wanted right next to an arc, just not "the arc".

Unfortunately, Isseu is correct. No action around the arc or Mallesherbes, absolutely nothing! My taxi driver told me that the police had cracked down, and there is basically no street action now. There were about 5 40+ aged women working out of their cars near Madeleine, but that was it.

In principle I agree with you, though technically you are wrong: there are still a few SWs in rue Pressbourg (which runs in a circle around the Arch), in Av. Victor Hugo and in the afternoon and early evening on the posh Av. Foch. All of these locations are in the immediate vincinity of the Arch de Triomphe.

However, it is true that the line-ups of young Balkan women in Av. MacMahon and neighbouring streets is a thing of the past. - Has been for almost a year now.

I have to agree with Priamos in his recent post. I was in Paris a year ago and am headed back next month. My experience was there were a few--very few--SWs in the Av Pressbourg, but they were over the hill warhorses.

However, there are hustlers who work some upscale bars off the Arc and Champs Elysee, and the girls working the bars are not bad at all. The problem is, you have to buy her and you a drink at 25Euros to get the conversation rolling. Prices seem average: 200Euros for full service. Blondes, brunettes, redheads, all from mid 20s to mid 30s, and many speak good English. They come back to your hotel. I never took anyone up on their offer, but might next time if I can't fit in frequent trips to Frankfurt and the FKK clubs.

There was no action around the Madeline, as has been written over and over again. Quite a few black girls working the streets between the Arc and the Eiffel Tower, like Av d'Iena.

Anyone have any good advice on where to find action in Paris now and in the fall as cool weather descends?

You are probably talking about the Arc of Porte St Martin where effectively you can find some SW but the quality is very low , mainly mid aged Chinese ladies , this Arc is also very close to Rue St Denis or rue Blondel where you can find some veteran SW .

The "Arch" is the Arche de Trimphe, one of the best known monuments in the world and until some time last year the area around it had a lineup of young E. European women every evening. That is the Arch referred to in posts here.

Priamos - you know what I meant. The aforementioned scene is a thing of the past. I wasn't talking about a sw here or there which you can probably find anywhere in the world.

Is anyone familiar with the bar Manekken Pis in the 2nd district? I stopped in here for a beer late at night, and had dinner. After a while I noticed that all the girls in the bar seemed to be single and working.

I asked a guy hanging out at the bar what the deal was, but he was sociopathic and had some kind of mental problems (not uncommon in Paris), so I backed off and decided to leave.

Would be curious to know what the deal is with these kinds of places. This bar being just around the corner from rue de la Paix, I doubt that the prices would be all that great.

The Manneken-pis is just a pub, restaurant and also mecomes a club some nights. It's heavy and not fun. My advice is to forget about it, sorry.

Just to report a scam.

Driving on the Marechaux boulevard last week, I noticed a girl looking like SW near Porte de la Chapelle.

Rather young and slim, not too worn, I'd say 5 or 5,5.

She noticed I was looking at her and ran to the car (that street is very wide). We engaged the conversation and she proposed me 20 € for BJ or 30€ for FS. She added she had a room where we could do it for 40€. I decided for that last solution.

She added she wanted the money for going there. I thought it was strange: you always pay before.

Then she wanted me to stop at an hotel, a cheap Formula 1 in St Ouen, where she bought some crack (yes!) and started to smoke it in my car. From that moment, I was decided to oust her asap.

I stupidly lended her my cell phone to make a call, she told me we were arrived at her place. Just the time I parked my car, she had vanished with the phone.

I felt like she had me like a noob.

So to avoid further problem, I'd tell you more of that junkie: european type, brown hair and eyes, quite thin, noticeable old scars on hands and wrist. Globally neglected. When I had her from close I was instantly repelled.

I can report that after good research of the reports on Paris, at midnight, after a very pleasant evening out at St Germain/Rue de Seine, I investigated the Ave Mac Mahon, and can report good girl/car/street action in this Ave.

Initially walked down the hill and flushed 3 from their cars at around midnight, quick chit chat indicated E100 for 60 minutes back at my hotel. All 3 were fine, and actually one was picked up from under my nose by a drive by - of course the best one.

However, got to the bottom of the hill and turned right, and encountered 2 black girls around 21 yrs hustlling - different market but still considerable ymmv.

Ended up in Stringfellows and that's another story, basically was busting for the loo and had to go in. Sophie from Denmark.

Leaving Stringfellows, the black girls opend with E100 /hr, or E200 until 0600 hrs, both at my hotel, or E50 for a quickie at the bottom of the metro stairs. Did not pass go did not collect GBP200.

So walking back up Ave Mac Mahon, the action was still there, but had sussed me as a tire kicker....in the time it took to get to the top and down again, there were two passes of the Police, and while it didn't disappear, the action was nervous. This was about 0145hrs.

Saw a taxi driver coming out of a bar and hopped in his cab and came back to the hotel. Who was more pissed?

So finally something positive about Paris, if not extensive
