I just had a pretty long conversation on YM with a self confessed bar girl from a Manila club (she admitted to being a bar girl later). We exchanged numbers then said bye because we both had work. Just a few minutes ago she actually called me on my Japan mobile phone. I didn't know who it was to start with. Then I get the you-don't-remember-me thing. Must say I was quite surprised that she would call me but I guess you learn something new every day.

Quite happy she did as Ill try to see her sometime if I can make it to Phi.

Friends with benefits and My neighbours wife (tagalog) are movies that were showing last week (the may still be showing) in fils cinema. The first title is self explanatory while the second is about the taboo of having an affair in fils. I saw both movies with DIA dates. I also discussed the movies with few other girls I saw during the trip. Both movies are extremely popular and for the first time I am hearing the terms friends with benefits in phils. I now have 2 LOL. No money just great sex. One even came up with the idea that this is better than being kabit (lover / adulterer) as this does not require loving the partner LOL. I love the popcorn coca cola culture of this country just point the in the right direction make it sound as if its normal natural and exciting and off you go. General consensus is that its a waste of time and counterproductive to start the dating site chatting frenzy more than a month before a planned trip. But its your spare time, spend it as you wish. You will find that if you encounter a worthwhile girl, she will not be satisfied with an endless chat relationship and promised trips that never materialize. This trip I started the process a day before arriving in Cebu.

So I arrange to meet a DIA gal today at 12 noon.

She seemed quite smart and worldly-wise, was looking forward to meeting a new foreigner, and the time and place was established by her. The place to meet was quite close to her home.

Then it started wrong already: you let her choose the time and place. Which puts her in control. Besides you hitting the drums, saying that you do not wait longer than 30 minutes before hand and coming late 15 minutes yourself drastically cuts your waiting time.

Strange but true, if you start to come over as demanding, they behave better. Which leaves still the fact that for many of them time means very little since they have nothing to do all day.
