Once again, that's generalizing.

There are high end chicas that make the 'millions' that's being discussed here and there are the low end chicas that are happy to make a days food and a place to sleep, and many in between.

There are chicas that have been in the business for a long time, some that started yesterday, there are those that actually enjoy it and those that despise it. There are those that have kids and family members to support for survival and those that do it to live high end.

We all know of or have heard of guys being 'taken' by pros, and some of us have been on the receiving end of it.

Of course it happens, especially to less experienced and vulnerable guys.

I wouldn't limit these deceptions to the pros though, there are plenty of your so-called non-pros that know how to play the '"te quiero mucho mi amor" game, and play the game well.

I've seen more than several guys fall in love and even marry these 'regular' girls, bring them back to the US, with resulting divorce and financial hurt much worse than 'helping out' a pro, trying to help her out of the business.

Hey, I'm no expert, and I've been tricked in the past too, however, I've also helped a few pros (now ex-pros) in the past with funds for school and training and even housing, that turned out nicely.

I still keep in touch with them, one is actually a flight attendant for Avianca now, one is a book-keeper secretary, and one is married to a guy living in Belgium.

If you have the desire to help someone out and your gut tells you it's sincere, and of course you have the funds, you just do it.

You have to be aware that there's always a chance you may be fooled, but as time goes on you'll get a feeling for what's real and what's not.

IMO, to say 'you can't take the hooker out of the pro' is just another generalization, just like saying 'all Mexicans are lazy', which I hear around my city, which is also ridiculous.

He found a girl in Indonesia and they left together to live happily ever and after in his hometown. After a while he discovered, that she picked up her trade in his hometown when he was travelling. There was also this ex-pro wife of an English guy. They stayed in Indonesia. When he's out of town, she kept meeting other men. Only now, it is she who chooses (the guy) without charging anything and sometimes the drinks are even on her. So other men take advantage of the generosity of hubby.

But, there's also this Dutch guy who married an Indonesian ex-pro years ago and according to him, everything is still perfect. He said the secret is to send money every month to her family and every now and then she accompanies him to Indonesia to avoid her to feel lost in the Netherlands. And maybe the possibility to mingle with the Indonesian community in the Netherlands, makes it easier for her to adopt living abroad.

I went to the Dollhouse for the first time last night. They spent a lot of money on the place. Personally, however, I wasn't too impressed. Too loud for my taste and the light show was annoying. Male dancers? Very weird. Don't pay more for bottles of liquor than the prices listed on the web site. For example, a full bottle of Ron Medellin should cost roughly 75K pesos (plus tax and tip). If somebody in your group has a VIP card, then you get 10% off. The restaurant had a very limited menu of hamburgers, hot dogs and quesadillas. I didn't see Frank there, but Aussie Greg and his posse were right behind us. The place seemed to start emptying at about 1 AM.

We left for Luna Lunera, and we were glad we did. While less luxurious than the Dollhouse, Luna Lunera easily beats the Dollhouse in the chica department. Perhaps last night was an unusually poor night at the Dollhouse. I really don't know. It was my first time at the Dollhouse. Maybe I will check it out again before I leave.

As far as "relaciones serias" with pros, why would you do that? I have nothing against pros. In fact, I like pros. However, there are 20 million women in Colombia. I'm not really interested in a serious relationship. If I were, then I would pursue one with an educated Colombiana from a "estrato cinco" or a "estrato seis" family who has a positive relationship with her father. That's what I would do, but other guys are free to whatever they want. Make no mistake about it, most Gringos seriously underestimate their market value in Colombia.

I'm just saying it because I don't want every newbie to come into the game and "fall in love" and think you can "save the world". The odds of it are slim.. very very slim. It's the same all over the world in every country.. They're playing their game and we're playing ours.. Even the experienced will get taken.

BTW, it's the opposite in NY. Mexicans here are considered very hard working.. They work like dogs doing the heavy lifting for very little pay.

She promised me she would not go back to work and she hasnt. I know where she is at all times of the day, she gave me phone numbers to her, her aunts, uncles, cousins, both cell and home numbers, if I don't find her at home, I find her where ever she is. Her whole family knows me at least over the phone and the ones that don't know me in person are eager to meet me next time I visit Medellin in Aug. So the Moral of the story is, FOLLOW YOUR HEART, the good signs in my opinion would be, if your girl introduces you to the family, if she doesn't ask for much financially, if she tells you where to find her at any time, if you call her any hour of the day and always answers you with a smile and sounds happy to hear you she is worth the risk. Now I know our buddies will find all the flaws in my rescue plan as it is not fool proof. It is a risk anyway you look at it, but at least for me my girl is worth it, the experience is worth it and I know that she is waiting for me, as she puts it in "our own home, sleeping in our own bed". Do what you want with your money. Believe what you want. Just so you know. Anything can happen when you're not there. Believing that her entire family will tell you a stranger the truth is just silly. If you really want to follow up on her. Befriend a local that doesn't know her and have him/her keep an eye on things.

IMO, the only true sign is if they don't ask for money. Even when they desperately need it. Pride will get me every time. Even that's not fool proof.

They have male dancers too. Luna is a stripcub/casa.. They have to have the hot girls to keep the customers. Dollhouse is for drinking and dancing.

I should have run right there, but I was new and dumb and caught up with this chica's beauty, so I hung around a bit longer to be abused more hahahaha.

Though there are some sincere ones out there, you have to keep your guard up and be aware that you can easily be played.

I agree with you that if they start asking you for money, it's usually a bad sign.

I have offered to help girls in the past, but that's after getting to know them quite well, and still you're never sure.

I've been lucky with a few, but have also been the dumb schmuck.

Always keep your guard up and look for the signs.

The management of the Dollhouse seems to have a very bizarre business model. They seem to want to be part Fase Dos and part Mangos. In my opinion, it won't work. They need to choose one or the other.

A very high percentage of the chicas in the Dollhouse were pros. It wasn't just a "sprinkling" of pros. Rather, there was a sprinkling of non-pros. Maybe it's different on weekends. I don't know.

As I understand it, they intended to compete directly with Fase Dos but couldn't get some of the required permits.

Personally, I would not bring a non-pro to the Dollhouse for drinking and dancing. Bad idea, in my opinion. None of the Gringos I know in Medellin bring non-pros to the Dollhouse.

I dont mean for us to get hung up on a topic that has little to do with the subject matter of this board, but given the fact that Ive had several PMs inquiring on details of my relationship and support, i just wanted to add one more thing, "life is a risk" if you dont risk anything you dont win anything, I had so much fun with P4P girls that I found thru this forum and I owe it a lot. But at least for me sex just for sex doesnt cut it anymore, I can have, and have had the most outstanding sexual encounters and some I've posted here and the TJ board but I always yearned for more, I always felt empty and alone, now I got what I was looking for and IT FEELS GOOD, my girl is special to me. Ricker. If the mom was do-able, you should have thrown her an extra 50k and had a three way with the daughter. Twice in my life I have experienced a three way in a mom/daughter combo and it was extremely well worth it. It's a sick world there and I'm sure glad that I'm a part of it.
