General Info

Hi guys,

I'll be around in Dusseldorf from Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 of June.

I think I'm going to stay at Hotel Terminus in Am Wehrhahn 81, because I already liked last summer and there is a good restaurant at 100mt around, with salf made beer, and very good grilled meat plates!

For Friday and Saturday I think to visit the couple of partytreffs in Erkrath and Dormagen, but I wish visit the nightlife for Thursday night and I don't know where I can find free clubs like pubs or disco's.

My plane arrive at 16. 30 in Weeze, then I'll rent a car, so I think I can be in Dussi for 18. 00. Then a shower and some walk, at 20. 00 dinner. And I would look for some nightlife.

Can you suggest some clubs?

Dolce Vita is a decent club located in Duss. You should try to arrive before 8pm as the entry price is lower & the price for sessions are also lower. They provide a BBQ dinner around 7pm or so.

But I was looking for a non pay-sex night for the first night, I mean night-life with discos not pay-sex clubs as fkks.

Eventually after a night spent to discover the nightlife, maybe I'll take a tour of the red-light district, but at the end of the night. I think red light will be in the HBF station zone I suppose.

Dolce Vita I think it's a normal fkk. I was looking for normal non pay-sex clubs for the first night.

Does Dusseldorf has a nightlife parallel to the sex-clubs?

To those who have visited Artemis, did you guys usually fly directly to Berlin or to some other cities and then drive few hours to Artemis? I've never been to Berlin. I'm not into taking trains because it's not that convenient and doesn't give me the kind of freedom to go wherever/whenever I want.

Say if you have a week of mongering and renting a car, is it logistically practical to drive back and forth among, say, Frankfurt, Berlin, and NWR? Has anyone done that kind of multi cities thing? Is it too far to even consider doing this by car, or is it just too much time wasting driving on the road? I've driven between Frankfurt and NWR before, but that was only 2 hours drive. It's not the same as driving 5 to 6 hours each way between Frankfurt and Berlin or between NWR and Berlin. How would you go about doing this kind of tour logistically?

Any suggestion?

Most of the better FKK clubs seem to be around Koln and not Dusseldorf, I will probably center myself around there next time I am in Germany.

when i have been to artemis i got to berlin by aeroplane into tiegel or schonefeld or by train to berlin hbf from another entry city like frankfurt am main or fulda. i have not driven to berlin before but i know many girls that do from cologne, dusselfdorf and frankfurt to work. i know some guys that do club tours by car starting off in nrw moving to hesse and then up to berlin or maybe keep heading south to bayern and badem wurtemberg for the clubs there. few keep travelling further south to say switzerland i find. better to fly or take a train if going that far to the swiss clubs.

i found the trains to be quiet, fast, comfortable, but not overly cheap compared to flying unless purchased well in advance or if you have a die bahn discount card. i never get around to applying for a die bahn card since i prefer to drive.

[/quote]yes, it is practical to drive from ffm to berlin and then to nrw in a circuit. i know of people that have done such a trip before. you just have to be prepared for the long drives (5-6 hours as you say) and the cost of benzin that is paid locally. the more usual tour that foreigners do on their fkk and sauna club tours is nrw to hesse or vice versa. one way between frankfurt am main and dusselfdorf is maybe 230 km so frankfurt am main to golden time in bruggen is around 270 km to give you an idea of distance - as you say it is about 2 hours driving. on the autobahns you can speed along at quite high speeds when there is no restrictions.

frankfurt am main to say stuttgart to visit fkk paradise is around 2 hours drive too. my friend can do it in 1 hour 20 minutes as his record. he has a thing for a girl at that club so when he and goes there he wants to be quick so he can ease the desire that hangs a heavy weight in his testicles.

Where is the best fkk place to stay for 2~3 hours without too much waste of time to get there in that journey?

Hi SP,

Sorry this one seems to have been missed. The logistics of touring can be, and indeed have been, discussed endlessly in the various threads. I, being of a simple nature, just decide which clubs I want to visit and then visit them.Much as I love Artemis I am not sure it is so very different from what can be found else where that I would drive the extra 6 or so hours to visit. Unless you also have the desire to see Berlin's non P4P sights & sounds I would say stick to the area around Frankfurt & Duselldorf as there is a much higher concentration of FKK.

If you can, say, fly into Berlin, rent a car, drive to Dusseldorf then south to Frankfurt where you drop the car and fly out, then certainly the drive is quite manageable. It would take just a morning to get from Berlin to around Dusseldorf.

My suggestion is to come up with an itinerary/list of preferences, then post it here and see if anyone has input. Forum members are much more likely to help if you show forethought and preparation when asking for input.
