The reality is that many guys based outside the Phils derive a considerable kick from chatting up pretty girls over the internet even if they know in their hearts that they are very unlikely to make an appearance in reality. My view is that as long as the guy is reasonably honest about the situation it's fine. Of course some guys are far from honest about the situation. A particularly nasty trick is to actually arrange a date and get the girl to tart herself up and take a couple of jeep rides to meet him in some mall. When the guy is not even in the country.

I agree completely. It's extremely important to frame your interactions correctly when dealing with Filipinas.

So, establish the correct frame: You are the Kano, with many, many women in Phils eager to spend time with you. Any girl's shoes are easily filled; she's well aware of that. But are you aware? That's what she wants to know. So much of what females say and do are unconscious "shit-tests" tossed out to gauge what a man will let them get away with. (This applies to all women: bargirls, dia, and also "normal" ones.)

Don't be an asshole or be cruel, but do be the boss. She wants you to. Really.

Also you have to deal with outrageous visa fees and the hassle of renewal and all the other bad things about that terrible Country: bad air, scams, crime, traffic, laws stacked against you, and knowing that is unlikely you will ever be accepted on the same level as a Filipino. Some guys have imported women and try to keep them isolated in some rural area, but that's a strategy that is bound to fail and cause problems.

Maybe taking them to another third world country is one option. Most of the ones on DIA can do little or nothing to improve the standing of a foreigner unless you marry them, but even that's not much help. In most cases for the ones on DIA if your money runs out you're dead meat as far as they are concerned. The Country is ok for short term sex tourism but for living it leaves alot to be desired.

All human beings behave and respond differently. For example, in my work situation I have several filipinas who are way superior to me in rank so using these sweeping chauvinistic approaches are not sure-fire prescriptions for success.

The point of my post was not to seek advice on what to do differently. It was just another saga in the "always late" chronicles that are frequently reported here (as evidenced by the heading I used).

I simply wanted to show to inexperienced mongers that a girl will turn up 1 hour and 50 minutes after the appointed time and wonder what all the fuss is about.

I still can not understand guys who cone here for less than 1 month try and meet dia girls. Then complain. Read the forums pina and Pino are on a different time scale. They count days not minutes you can not change that.

Also there are so many girls who work and turn up just spend your time and money on thoses. They are also more experiance and often have a hygiene check.

For every 1 good hook up on a dating site I would guess there is 100 rejections.

I think this tread should have a terms of service (TOS) every time some one posts start with the words above.

And before that there was a particualr movie house that was basically open 20 hours a day. But the best part was htat if you bought a ticket you were entitled to stay there as long as you liked. None of this one ticket one show deal. I think the price back then was something crazy like P20, as I well remember spending 4 hours there with a sweet young lady. In planning for an upcoming trip to Philippines Dec. 10 through 18 I have been wasting tons of time chatting up ladies on DIA. Would like to know a few things from you more experienced folks.

1. Is it likely these girls will have sex on the first date? Any advice on how to ensure this will happen (things to do, say, give, places to go.)?

2. Is there a way or code word in their profile to tell which girls are looking for P4P or at least open to it?

3. Is there a way or code word in their profile to tell which girls are not open to P4P?

4. Why do some girls show the two fingers or peace sign in their pictures? Are they code for something?

Please do not tell me to read the forum as I have already done that and did not find this information.

Just like, an employee rarely behaves the same at the job interview as he does after he's been on the job for five years.

Second, let's be very honest here. Many guys who marries native Filipinas are older white men (in his 50s and 60s) who hooked up with a 20something gal. She "changes" not because she changed, but because these kinds of unions are unnatural to begin with. Over time, her needs and his needs will diverge simply by virtue of the age difference. I have a feeling that if these guys married someone closer in age, he would find she wouldn't have "changed" so much.
