This post is not intended to criticize you or put you down, just to indicate how we arrive at such divergent views of Thermae. The bottom line is I am not a big fan and very rarely take a girl out of there, but I still occasionally like to drop by and window shop, usually later in the evening after I have already had a ST with a Go Go girl and said goodbye to her or when I am coming back from a session at a Soapie and dinner. It's usually around midnight or a little later and I am just cruising around Sukhumvit sometimes heading in the general direction of Soi 11, sometimes heading the other way towards Cowboy or Soi 22. I enjoy cruising around Sukhumvit after midnight. Many times, but far from a majority of the time, I will meet a girl I like in a bar or on the street and have a 2 fer.

Anyway, since I am in the neighborhood and just passing by Thermae, I will drop in to take a look at the girls and have a coke lite as long as I have nothing else specific on my agenda. The 1st issue I have with Thermae is I rarely see any girls on the left or right above a 6 IMHO and the fact that most of the girls are wearing drab street clothes doesn't help either. The 2nd issue I have with Thermae is the vibe. Some guys refer to it as a meat market. I wouldn't mind if it were just that. I used to frequent Nataree a lot. Now Nataree WAS a meat market! LOL. But it was a friendly good vibe meat market and many of the Nataree girls were young, pretty and up to my spec. It's too bad, but I just don't see the good vibes happening in Thermae. The older girls whom I am not interested in are friendly, but the younger more attractive ones are available yes, but appear too reticent in the bar for my taste plus the set-up kind of deters engaging in private conversations ie auditions with the girls to establish a rapport or see if one is possible before taking them out. That last sentence mainly refers to girls sitting along the walls not so much with girls sitting around the island.

Anyway, for these reasons and a few more besides, Thermae is just not my kind of pick up joint. YMMV. I am glad you like it and have found nice girls there. I know there are nice girls there. Some girlfriends of my Mini are former Baccara Go Go girls who now occasionally FL in Thermae. I have seen them sitting in booths along the left wall and I will say hi to them. Later Mini will confirm the brief encounter and joke about my visiting Thermae. HA HA. Her girlfriends are great girls! Back in the day I used to hang out with Mini and her entourage 3 or 4 nights a week. I just find it easier and more fun to find those kinds of girls and younger ones too elsewhere. 555.

Thus whenever I do stop by I usually walk around the island 2 or 3 times, smiling at the girls, nodding my head at the ones that smile back, avoiding the smiles from the needy, unattractive ones; just sipping my coke lite. Then I head back outside to wherever I was rambling off to.

On my last trip to BKK I took one Thermae girl. It was after midnight on my first night in town. She was ok, nice looking, maybe a 6, but nothing to write home about. I have pics of her to remind me of how she looks, otherwise I would have forgotten her already as I predicted. I still have her LINE ID on my cell phone, but there is no chance I will drop her a line and get back together with her. She was not a bad girl, just not a memorable one.

And in all my years of occasionally dropping by Thermae, there was only one Thermae girl that I met 6 or 7 years ago, that really moved me. What a girl! She was 28, gorgeous, well dressed and professionally coiffed, graceful, educated, friendly, outgoing, confident, and very sexy. She obviously did not belong in Thermae. Ha Ha. Girls like her do not usually hang out in Thermae. They are usually found in Mixx or someplace like that. Needless to say, I took her home after we established a little friendly rapport and had a great time, but somehow, I lost the scrap of paper that had her name and cell number. This was before I had a smart phone. I went back several times to Thermae to find her, but no such luck. I am still grieving over the loss. 555.

I am mostly just call in for a look too. Hard for me to get to the best girls. They don't want me or give off a bad vibe. No memorable girls in recent years from the Thermae, none even worth repeating and for me nearly half were bomb outs.

The clear problems for me, were over dressed girls hiding that body was not so fab, and too many girls with a lack of experience doing Farangs. The ones experienced in Farangs and preferring Farangs are just too ordinary looking and not too the standard we want.

I absolutely agree to about dreaming about fabulous girls of the Thermae from yesteryear long ago, never to find that fantastic a girl again.

Recently have repeated a Soi 4 street girl. Yeh I got lucky, she was tall, pretty enough, and gave a wonderful GFE. She loves Farangs and prefers them. Ha ha. Only weakness is has very small tits, but no big deal for me. No fake stuff. Wonderful full on tongue kissing which I never got from a Thermae girl in recent years. I don't need Raunchy girls but I guess some in Thermae are just too timid and recalcitrant and too inexperienced. If I just got that lucky in Thermae once, maybe I would change my stance.

In the old days Thermae was located in mouth of Soi 13 (close to Miami crap Hotel), and above it was the Thermae Soapy Massage (quite small but some good girls). Wonderful times in 1991. I was not even aware Annies existed. Nudity in bars was only in Pat Pong. Where is my time machine? I would like to repeat it all. One problem is my Thai GF was just a child at the time. Would have been nice to meet her really young though (at say 19 or 20).

In demand girls can afford to say no, if the price is not good. That is fair enough, the next guy will pay more.

Girls to the right side are comparable to Soi 4 girls somewhat, so prices should not be too far away for many of them. Yes some exceptions where I may have considered a right side girl, more so girls near to the front door, not sure if that is part of the "right" or not.

The worst girls on Soi 4 might be 1K an average girl 1200 and a much better girl 1300 to 1500. It makes no sense to me that the price variation is so low. I will go higher for something special, for sure. For some reason I just don't want the cheapest. Does not excite me. Sure I can get a dick in for 1K, but not my objective. I want value for the money too. Not a dog or fat face.

I had hope to report more mongering activities while I explored more of Bangkok for the first time. I found that searching through the forum had been pretty helpful in preparing me for the different mongering areas to explore on this trip.

Unfortunately, the girl that I met on my first visit to Thermae has just spent the past 3 days with me. A positive though is the only thing that I've paid with her is for only meals and drinks that we've had. Otherwise, I've only given her that 2 k on the first time we met and some taxi money when she just left. If it weren't for her school days, she'd probably still be with me right now. So I guess I've got myself a steady local now; we'll see.

So hopefully now I'll get to check out Soi Cowboy and Patpong areas as I had planned.

When I went to Thermae the 3rd time this past Friday, I observed from outside that even from 8 pm-9 pm, girls were still rolling in to start their 'work'. And I didn't observe too many girls being taken out during this timeframe either. I went inside around 9 pm. But before I went inside, I did notice 3 girls arriving that seemed to be new to the location and didn't seem to know where to go and acted nervously about going inside; seems like there is also potential to meet some amateurs as well to this hobby. As I went inside and saw all the girls, I think between 9 pm-10 pm might be the best time to visit and get a decent lineup to choose. There were definitely a lot to choose (attractive, average, young, older girls). The girl that spent the past 3 days with me didn't show up 'til I think 10:00 pm. I ended chatting with her again and I took her out without discussing any pricing and it just rolled on from there.

Anyways, I can definitely see now why so many guys decide to stay and live in Thailand.
