Anyways I read in threads that actually Pattaya is busy as people are abandoning BKK for pattya right now.

6,000 is actually low. Most good-looking BGs will garner 30,000 baht a month or more from each sponsor. The go-go showgirls earn AT LEAST 100k baht per month from various sponsors. I've met girls who have 7-8 different boyfriends - each sending them money each month. It can really add up.

Actually, the gentleman said he gives her 6000 every 3 weeks, which works out to 8666 Baht per month -- more than enough to pay for a nice apartment with a sea view in Pattaya, or, as was said below, to buy a healthy water buffalo for the family.

I met a girl in Beergarten of all the places who was getting close to 30,000 Baht from a German guy. She had the use of his apartment, nice car. I was driving around town in his car with this girl. She was 27 years quite pretty, tall. We even took a ride to Auyuthaya. However she got more than ticked off when I scratched her car when I was trying park in a tight corner. I was drunk. It was a minor paint job. She never asked me money but I did give her some efore leaving. But I am sure either from boredom or trying to make extra money she is hanging around Beergarten.

It was no nippa hut on stilts that's for sure, with lot's of toys for the whole family (HiLux, lot's of scooters, plasma & karaoke machine, ect.). She has 4 brothers and another older sister (she's second youngest). Shit I got to Isaan a lot, to many different villages to see girls and their families. 10 K is huge for these families they feel like they hit the lottery. But so what? If a guy wants to sponsor a girl and he knows he is flushing his money then let him.
