"In response, Pisas acknowledged the government's intent to utilize Campo Alegre as a regulated prostitution center but underscored the pending feasibility study by the SOAB accounting firm. He committed to awaiting the study's conclusions within three months before making a final decision on the property's future. ".

I hear that Campo charges $60 a day in rent to the girls. I guess them making a killing doesn't necessarily equate to Campo making a killing since the girls don't give Campo a percentage. On the other hand, it seems that keeping a session around $35 might not be that attractive to some of the mid tier girls when they would need to have two clients just to cover daily rent. I have had some great times there for sure, though and would love to see it reopen.

Study is likely being conducted to see how much $ needs to be invested to renovate rooms and whole place.

Good AC, decent plumbing in each of the rooms. The bar area seemed fine too and I actually liked the food there.

I am sure it will take some money for sure but would love to see it open again.

Another funding option.

Or set it up as a co-op, with special benefits to the fractional owners.
Seriously, I wonder if something like that has ever been tried.

I was there today. The parking lot has a gate across it and when I walked around it to get to the main entrance, I was chased by a pack of dogs and had some local yell at me from somewhere unseen. Not sure if he was a squatter or what passes for "security" in Curacao but from what I could see of the place it was a lot worse to the point of it looking like you'the expect of buildings that have been neglected for almost half a decade. I think it's a lost cause at this point. I could see some smaller venues opening but I think the Campo is a thing of the past. I'd love to be proved wrong.

It's been closed for what close to 4 years now or a little over. It wasn't in the greatest shape when it closed and I am sure it needs completely redone. Even if the government gave the property to someone for free it would take a lot of money to get it back into shape. I know all the times they tried to auction it off they were wanting 3 million US or so which was absurd. Takes a lot of $28 sessions to pay for that even if the property were turn key.

Very sad to hear
The one sex place in the world I really wanted to visit and I missed it. I don't know how many years I have left in this shitty world, but I'm keeping fingers crossed. Let's give it 10 years fellas. It's got to come back in 10 years time.

Curacao
Coming with wife and we were going to go to Campo. We went years ago and had a blast. Just saw it's closed! We don't keep up on this stuff much so had no idea. I've not found much on here on other options. Anyone have any idea where we could go? Wife is Spanish so she's fluent with language. We are renting a place by Cas Abou for two weeks. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Arguably you can get better sex at an FKK in Germany.
