I have never seen such a small amount of of money, make such a difference anywhere. Every year we pay millions of dollars to these corporate charities, they give often less than 10 percent to the real poor recipients. Good for you. Personally, i have respect for sponsors, atleast they have a big heart. And these are folks, who make bar girls tick when the going gets tough. I have long long long time ago accepted that people can cheat me, take advantage of me, that bar girls are for money and they have 100 other sponsors, they don't love me, they love my money etc etc.....thats why i kept my user name born loser....

Just for your information, what you send (6000 baht every 3 weeks, that's about 8667 baht/month) is slightly less than the average monthly wage in Thailand (8848 bahts per month at the end of year 2008, according to the [url="http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/4504/ber2009p6.gif"]Bangkok Post Economic Review[/url]). Therefore, for the "average Thai", that makes a difference.
