I was 100% serious. Also, the Russians were there for the last 60 years (?) so they also have a great mix of all types. Don't know that I would recommend as a "destination", but if you are already there, or you know these places well, it can be spectacular. But, of course, it is missing Ipanema...
Ashgebat has this hotel with an all night disco. Don't remember the name. The only place I know of in the world where you can wake up with jet lag at 04:00 and go downstairs and find some great diversion to relieve your jet lag!

Less than in Uzbekistan though, where there has been MASSIVE relocations by Stalin from West Russia, Poland and Caucasus during Soviet period (and especially during WW2). Consequently, Tashkent is undoubtedly the place in Stans with the most important Russian-ethnic population. You especially notice that in the cosmopolitan bowels, where blue eyed-blond haired Natashas and Tatianas are rather common. Anyway, what makes Uzbekistan great is the variety of looks. The result of several generations of mixing between Persians, Russians, Turks, Tatars, Koreans, Poles and other indistinct ethnicities.
In this respect, Caucasus (Georgia, Armenia) is also great. The demographics are incredibly diverse and historically it has been home to peoples from many different cultures, religions and ethnicities. It's a fascinating region indeed, that I recommend to any "pioneer" monger to visit.

Before anybody starts screaming, I know this is the Brazil forum and not the place for this discussion. But, last comment from me here on this topic, I have to support on this Uzbekistan thing. Balcony has gotten some bad press here. It is highly variable, for sure, but it has stunners too. I agree with the previous statement that you need to move fast because the hot ones can get snapped up or move on fast. Truth is, a lot of the old Help crowd is still trying to figure it out/get comfortable.
Here is a dumb question. Why does everybody focus on L'uomo when talking about higher end termas? It is a nice place but I think the talent is often better at MC. Solarium too. L'Uomo is open later, I think it is open on days when 4x4 isn't, you can walk there and walk back home... there are discounts depending on how many girls you session... Rikkit has done in depth analysis and told me all of this, there are reasons. For me, it is 5 minutes away, that is one really good reason, I don't want to go downtown. Also, it is a little more laid back than 4x4. The atmosphere and the accomodations are also better. So in that aspect I liked L'Uomo better.
To me the girls also seemed different, a little classier at L'Uomo, a little more down-to-earth at 4x4. For this I liked 4x4 better.
